Chapter 1Chapter 1:Transmigrated Into Pokemon World!

It was a bright morning in the Pokémon world. The sun rose gracefully over the horizon, casting a golden glow across the bustling seaside city of Vermillion. The gentle sound of waves crashing against the docks mingled with the chirping of wild Wingull soaring through the sky. The city buzzed with life as people prepared for another day, the distinct hum of activity setting the scene.

A wooden sign proudly displayed, "Welcome to Vermillion City!" swayed slightly in the morning breeze. The camera of imagination panned from the docks and vibrant streets to a modest apartment near the city center. Inside, a young boy lay sprawled on his bed, the soft rays of sunlight streaming through the window landing on his face.

The boy stirred, groaning softly as his eyes fluttered open. His silver coloured hair was ruffled from sleep, and his striking blue eyes blinked against the light. Sitting up slowly, he rubbed his temples, still dazed. For a moment, he gazed around the small room, confusion flickering across his face. Then, like a tidal wave, memories flooded his mind, leaving him breathless.

'What… what is all this?' he thought, clutching his head. Fragments of two lives—his past life and his present—collided and melded into one cohesive reality. His breathing quickened as the realization set in.

'This... This is the Pokémon world,' he thought, his heart pounding. Memories from his previous life—where Pokémon had been nothing more than an anime, manga, and game—now intertwined with the memories of this new life. His name, his identity, his existence had changed.

"My name is Ace Drago," he muttered under his breath, the words sounding foreign yet familiar.

From his merged memories, Ace pieced together his current situation. He was a Pokémon trainer, or at least, he was on the cusp of becoming one. In this world, trainers began their journeys at the age of 15, a stark difference from the anime where children as young as 10 embarked on their adventures. Ace was now 15, an orphan who had clawed his way through life, studying hard and earning the rare sponsorship of Professor Cerise, a renowned Pokémon researcher based in Vermillion City.

'I don't remember much about my family in either life,' Ace realized, a twinge of sadness tugging at his heart. 'But I do know this much—I'm not just a kid dreaming of going to the Pokemon world anymore. I'm here now, living it.'

His gaze shifted to the desk by the window, where a neatly stacked pile of books and research notes sat. Next to them was a box wrapped in a gift he got at night that he still hasn't opened due to being sleepy.

'The package from last night,' he thought, his excitement building again.

He swung his legs over the side of the bed and stood up, his bare feet making soft sounds against the wooden floor as he approached the desk. Picking up the package, he examined it for a moment, his thoughts racing.

'I was too tired to open this last night,' he mused, recalling how the thrill of starting his Pokémon journey today had kept him awake for most of the night.

With careful hands, Ace tore open the package, revealing its contents. A soft smile spread across his face as he pulled out 2 sets of neatly folded clothes: a black t-shirt, black cargo pants, and a blue hooded jacket.

"These… they're perfect," Ace murmured, running his fingers over the fabric.

He instantly recognized the thoughtful gesture. "This must be from Talia," he said, his voice filled with gratitude.

Talia, the kindhearted wife of Professor Cerise, was more than just a familiar face in his life. She was like a godmother to him, always spoiling him whenever she visited the lab. Whether it was with snacks, words of encouragement, or small gifts, Talia had always made him feel cared for.

At the bottom of the package, Ace discovered a sleek black backpack. Pulling it out, he inspected it with a smile. The bag was sturdy, with a big storage space like the ones in the games.

"This is perfect for traveling," he said, nodding approvingly.

As he set the backpack aside, his eyes caught sight of a smaller box nestled within the packaging. His curiosity piqued, Ace opened the box to reveal a delicate locket with a moonstone embedded in its center.

His blue eyes widened, the light reflecting off the gemstone casting a faint shimmer. 'Chloe,' he thought immediately, recognizing the sentimental value behind the gift. Chloe, the daughter of Professor Cerise and Talia, was his childhood friend and someone he held dear.

"This must be from her," Ace said softly, picking up the locket.

The moonstone felt cool against his palm, its glow reminding him of the time Chloe had gotten lost while chasing after a Cleffa. She had been scared and crying when he found her. Though he also didn't know how to get back to the professor if not for Cleffa bringing back it's mother Clefable who showed them the way and also gave Chloe a moonstone as an apology for causing trouble to her. He placed the locket around his neck, letting it rest against his chest, then he got up and decided to change his clothes.

Ace stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the hooded jacket that Talia had gifted him. The black t-shirt and cargo pants fit perfectly, and the blue jacket added a touch of style that made him feel ready for whatever challenges lay ahead. Around his neck, the moonstone locket shimmered faintly, a comforting weight reminding him of Chloe's encouragement.

'This is it,' he thought, glancing at his reflection one last time. His white hair framed his determined blue eyes, which now burned with resolve.

He methodically packed his new backpack, making sure everything he needed was neatly stored in its compartments. He double-checked the storage space, placing the remaining items from his desk and room inside. As he zipped it up, he took a final look around his small apartment.

"I probably won't be back here for years," Ace murmured, the realization settling in. There was no sadness in his voice—only a quiet acceptance.

With a click, he locked the door behind him and slung the backpack over his shoulder. As he stepped out into the vibrant streets of Vermillion City, the morning air filled his lungs, invigorating him. The city was alive with activity, but Ace's thoughts were elsewhere.

'Everyone always dreams about going to the Pokémon world,' he mused, a small smile tugging at his lips. 'Catching Pokémon, battling trainers, becoming a Pokémon Master... That's the ultimate fantasy, isn't it?'

But now, it wasn't just a dream. It was his reality.

Ace made his way toward Professor Cerise's lab, his steps steady and purposeful. A determined smile spread across his face as he clenched his fists.

'I've been given this chance, and I'll be damned if I waste it,' he thought.

As the lab came into view, Ace's thoughts turned to the memories he had uncovered from his new life. A piece of information stood out, surprising and daunting in equal measure: there already was a Pokémon Master.

"Red," Ace whispered to himself, the name carrying weight.

Red wasn't just a trainer; he was a legend. The Red from the Pokémon games—the unstoppable trainer who scaled Mt. Silver in the manga, leaving challengers trembling in his wake. Ace couldn't help but compare him to Ash Ketchum, the protagonist of the Pokémon anime.

'Red would probably defeat Ash,' Ace thought, his lips curling into a smirk. 'Though it wouldn't be easy. Ash has battled nearly every legendary Pokémon and even won the World Championship.'

The enormity of the challenge didn't intimidate Ace—it thrilled him. But reaching Red wasn't just a matter of skill; it was a long, grueling journey.

The qualifications to challenge the Pokémon Master were unlike anything Ace had expected.

'Get every Gym badge of every region. Win the Nine regional championships to get Nine gold badges.' he thought, recalling the process. 'Then exchange the gold badges to fight all the Elite Fours of those regions. Only then do you get the diamond badges needed to challenge the champions.'

His thoughts wandered further, imagining the weight of a Pokénite badge in his hand—the final key to facing Red. Pokénite, a rare mineral used in crafting ultra balls and high-end machinery, symbolized the ultimate achievement and the most prized treasure in the Pokémon world. The Pokénite badge can only be obtained if the challanger defeated all the champions of the 9 regions.

"But no one's done it," Ace murmured to himself, his voice laced with awe and determination. "No one has ever obtained the Pokénite badge to face Red."

His eyes narrowed as he gripped the straps of his backpack.

'Then I'll be the first,' Ace resolved, his heart pounding with excitement. 'I'll conquer every region, defeat every champion, and earn the Pokénite badge to challenge Red. That's my goal.'

The lab's door loomed closer, and Ace's determined expression hardened. This was where it all began.

'Let's see where this journey takes me.'

Pokemon Alternate Universe Adventures

A man from an Earth gets the choice to start over in any Universe and chooses an Alternate Pokemon Universe. Let us see if his journey to the top is succesful and the impact he will have on his new world. Pokemon is owned by Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures Inc. I just use their sandbox for the plot of my MC and my OCs. This will be a "slow" paced story, in fact it's "super slow paced", so please don't expect the MC to directly start his journey in 20 chapters or so, actually multiply that by like 15. A lot is going to happen before that happens. The first 10-20 chapters or so are information heavy, depending on what kind of reader you are. I try to keep my chapter length between 2000 and 3000 words per chapter. My release rate is 4 chapter/week for now. I have a patre*n for those that want to support me with access to some advance chapters as a thank you. patre*n.com/Azrail93 This is an alternate pokemon universe so there will be differences to the games, manga and anime. So if something in the story is different it is most likely on purpose. The original sources are seen as suggestions not laws. Differences can be: Type variants, evolution conditions, strength mechanics, world building and more. If I am at some point asking for reader input I will do so but otherwise I will ignore most suggestions. So please don't spam things like catch this pokemon or do that next. I have my plot planned and external input will be considered when asked for. If I see a suggestion that I believe fit my plot flow I will use it and will credit the commentor. Comments on spelling and grammar mistakes are welcome. I will try to correct said mistakes with time. Constructive criticism will be read and considered. Insult and hate comments will be ignored or deleted depending on severity. Readers naturally can comment their dislike but one worders will be ignored. If the reason for the dislike is explained I will read it. Like previously mentioned pure insults and hate comments will be ignored or deleted. The same is true for simple hate reviews or insulting ones. Reviews complaining about something I warned about, such as the slow pace, will be deleted as well.
