Xavier walked downstairs, his eyes searching for Selene but he didn't see her around.
He sighted Kael who was scrolling through his phone.
"Where's Selene?" He questioned.
Kael stiffened when he heard Xavier's voice. It was so sharp, he bet it would have slit his throat off if he delayed any longer before replying to him.
"They are in my mother's painting room. She's showing Selene her paintings," he replied so fast as if there was hot food in his mouth.
"And where is Tracie?" He asked when he didn't see the latter around.
"She's resting in her room," Kael replied.
When Xavier's face eased, he went back to his phone. He couldn't blame Xavier. Tracie embarrassed Selene at the dining table, but the latter was able to get the upper hand and he smiled in approval.
