Kace noticed the change of expression on Allison's face before she looked back at him, subtly glaring at him as always. Then her gaze shifted to her mother.
"I will be going now Mother," she announced.
She strode out of the house with Kace behind her.
"Enjoy your time with Kace Wallace!!" Mrs. Quinn yelled out, trying to gain the attention of her neighbors who were going about their ways as she waved them goodbye.
Allison didn't bother to respond to her. Her mother had been acting weirdly nice towards her since Kace came to their house the first time, and she had a good idea why the middle-aged woman was doing so.
Kace moved forward and opened the door for Allison, also ignoring Mrs. Quinn.
"You need to stop coming here all the time. You visited my college every day too and now, my house?" She questioned him.
"Do you have a problem with it?" He questioned her with a teasing smile on his lips.
