"Bingo."
Selene was napping in the car when she suddenly felt it jolt forward. Instantly, she blinked her eyes open.
"What's that?" She asked Jake, urgency evident in her tone.
"Ma'am, there's a truck behind us. I don't know if the man driving is blind or probably drunk. I've already given him space to drive past us but he continues to stay behind the car," Jake explained.
Selene frowned deeply as her heart hammered hard on her ribs. She parted her lips to speak, but another jolt interrupted her.
"Jake, you need to drive faster," she ordered.
Jake hit the accelerator of the car, hitting full speed, unfortunately the truck was right behind them.
It was obvious from the actions of the truck driver, he wanted to tumple their car over. The street was nearly empty with only a few cars and people passing, but they couldn't do anything about the situation.
