She Fell

Selene's eyes widened, her mouth slightly agape, as she listened to Thalia's narration. 

This only meant Robert had not believed her when she made her first appearance, even after they had tried to find out her true identity by giving her an orange which she was allergic to. 

"That man is truly evil," she commented. "But how have you been taking care of the orphanage all this while?" She asked. 

Thalia's father was Robert's younger brother. Despite their shared prestigious family background, Thalia's father lacked Robert's wealth and was accustomed to following his elder brother's every command.

Selene hadn't been able to fund the orphanage after she bought the building, so she asked help from her cousin, Thalia and together, they became partners.
