Selene shrugged it off, believing she was simply too tired and seeing things. They were just meeting for the first time; Kael had no reason to suddenly hate her. However, the flash of disdain that crossed his face discouraged her from approaching him with her questions.
After Kael left, Selene followed right behind him, making sure to keep a good distance until she got to her car.
Kace glared at Kael, wondering what he could be doing in Dreamscape building. Kael didn't realize someone was glaring at him since Kace's car was heavily tinted, hiding his figure.
His attention shifted to Selene whose shoulder was up and tense.
"What happened?" He asked.
"Nothing. I'm just tired," she replied, leaning against the car seat, and closing her eyes shut, to let them relax for a while.
Kael glared at Selene's car that just drove out of the gate. He pulled out his phone to make a phone call to someone.
