Yang Yang operated freely on the right, systematically exploiting Naarden's left flank. Adjacent to Fort Uitermeer and along the Vecht, several yacht harbors and marinas provide docking facilities for boat owners, including those with yachts, to explore and appreciate the area.

Weesp, with a population of approximately 20,000 residents, boasts a vibrant sporting culture. In the southeast, there are hockey and rugby pitches, while the northern area features a stadium with tennis courts and five full-size football pitches.

In the third round of the amateur competition, Almere faced FC Weesp away at one of their home pitches.

The match took place in the evening, drawing local residents to the stadium. Cars filled the parking lot on the south side, while enthusiastic fans encircled the venue. Many families were seen bringing their children to witness the game.

Entering the third round of the amateur tournament, Weesp demonstrated a certain level of strength. They had evidently taken note of Almere's victories over AS'80 and Naarden, and for this game, they adopted a defensive counter-attacking strategy, focusing particularly on marking Yang Yang on the right wing.

Despite facing intense marking, Yang Yang remained highly active on the right flank. His exceptional physical endurance, combined with his tactical awareness and ability to exploit defensive gaps, posed a significant challenge to the Weesp defenders, who were considered inferior even to AS'80.

SC Franeker, hailing from Friesland, boasts formidable overall strength and has performed impressively throughout the tournament, notably eliminating FC Utrecht in the previous round.

Almere approached the match cautiously, mindful of Franeker's recent successes, especially their victory over Utrecht. However, fueled by their motivation and excitement following the win against Weesp, Almere were eager to face Franeker.

Having surprised fans with their consistent performances in the earlier rounds, Almere recognizes that the competition will only intensify as they progress. Potential matchups against top Dutch clubs like Ajax, AZ Alkmaar, and Feyenoord loom ahead, presenting a significant challenge but also offering invaluable experience.

As the competition advances, the growing attendance of fans increases the potential visibility to scouts from professional teams. A standout performance could attract the attention of these scouts, potentially paving the way for opportunities with professional clubs.

Playing away from home, SC Franeker appeared well-prepared for the game against Almere, known for their strong attacking prowess. Yang Yang remained proactive on the right, tirelessly engaging with Franeker's left back and left midfielder. With limited support from his teammates, he resorted to exploiting his opponents' fatigue, relying on his running and movement to create gaps in their defense.

As the match progressed, both teams expended considerable energy with little to show in terms of goal-scoring opportunities.

In the 73rd minute, Yang Yang once again found space to receive a long ball from the center-back. Despite his immense stamina, the exertion throughout the match had taken its toll, affecting his first touch as he attempted to control the pass. This unexpected slip momentarily caught him off guard, but he quickly reacted, sprinting after the ball as it headed towards the left defender.

Franeker's left-back, startled by the sudden turn of events, instinctively rushed forward to intercept.

Both players sprinted at full speed from opposite directions, each vying for possession of the ball.

With determination etched on his face, Yang Yang pushed himself to the limit, disregarding his fatigue. He managed to reach the ball first, deftly poking it past the sliding left defender's challenge. Despite being nudged slightly off balance by the defender's contact, Yang Yang recovered after a couple of staggering steps and swiftly regained his composure, accelerating ahead to retrieve the ball.

Meanwhile, Franeker's left central defender had also reacted to the situation. Observing Yang Yang's lob over his teammate, he hesitated momentarily, unsure whether to close down the advancing player. It was this split-second hesitation that allowed Yang Yang to seize control of the ball.

After spotting Yang Yang catch up to the ball, the defender reacted instinctively, lunging to kick it away. However, Yang Yang swiftly executed a body feint, feigning a move towards the outer right and then accelerating sharply towards the inside.

Caught off guard by this sudden change of direction, Franeker's defender attempted to block but was left off balance, slipping on the turf in his effort to defend against Yang Yang.

Yang Yang's adept feint left the defender sprawled on the ground as he cut diagonally into the penalty area.

Franeker's right-back hurried to bolster their defense, but inside the penalty box, Yang Yang assumed full control. Faking a shot to deceive the defender, he deftly dribbled past with a right-footed maneuver, then threaded a precise pass into the center of the penalty area. The striker, positioned perfectly, calmly controlled the ball before curling it into the left corner of the net, eluding the goalkeeper who had anticipated a move towards the right.

The entire stadium erupted in jubilation at this pivotal moment.

Yang Yang, having dribbled over 30 meters in the process, shook his head in amazement at the taxing sprint, before being engulfed by his ecstatic teammates on the pitch.
