Ch - 50 Security Breach?

After returning from CCPD, Barry walked over to where his superhero suit was displayed. He gazed at it longingly, a deep sense of dejection in his eyes. Swayam and Caitlin noticed his melancholy and approached him.

Sensing their presence behind him, Barry turned his head briefly to see who it was, then redirected his gaze back to the suit. He asked them, "Do you think I'll ever wear it again?"

Unable to bear the sight of a despondent Barry, Caitlin replied, "I hope so."

Swayam placed a reassuring hand on Barry's shoulder, signaling that he shouldn't lose hope. He added, "You will wear it again, Barry. Don't worry, one of the greatest minds in the world is working on a way to help you regain your powers."

After Swayam's words of encouragement, Barry became emotional, expressing his feelings, "I didn't have my speed for very long, but now that it's gone, it feels like a part of me is gone too."

Hearing Barry's vulnerability, Caitlin, who was accustomed to his usual optimism and energy, couldn't stand seeing him so downcast. She tried to lift his spirits, just as she had done with Swayam earlier. "With or without your speed, you're still you, Barry."

Even though Barry acknowledged Caitlin's words, his sadness didn't entirely dissipate. "But I'm not. I'm not the best version of me. I love being the Flash. I love everything about it. The feeling of running hundreds of miles per hour, the wind and power rushing past my face, being able to help people... I'm not sure I can live without it."

Just as Barry finished speaking, Cisco approached the trio, mentioning a name, "Farooq Gibran."

The name didn't ring any bells for Barry, so he asked Cisco who he was talking about.

Seeing Barry's confusion, Cisco handed him a tablet and began to explain in detail, "Farooq Gibran, the powers vampire who jacked your speed. I hacked into the surveillance footage from the substation. Once I got his facial ID, it was easy to find a match."

As Barry took the tablet and began reading the article about Farooq Gibran and the incident involving him and his two friends on the night of the particle accelerator explosion, he shared what he learned with the others. "Farooq Gibran climbed an electrical tower the night of the accelerator explosion."

Caitlin, standing beside Swayam, added, "No surprise where his powers came from."

Suddenly, the computer beeped. Cisco went to check what was wrong and discovered through the live surveillance footage that there was a breach in the security system. The intruder, forcing his way into S.T.A.R. Labs, was none other than the metahuman who stole Barry's powers—Farooq Gibran. Seeing this, Cisco exclaimed, "Oh, you've got to be kidding me. This is not happening." His outburst drew everyone's attention, and they all hurried over to see what was going on.

As they gathered around Cisco, they saw Farooq Gibran standing at the front gate of the lab. Looking directly at the camera installed at the entrance, Farooq angrily demanded, "Dr. Harrison Wells, I need to see you! Come on. I know you're inside. Open the door. I just want to talk, Dr. Wells." The longer he was ignored, the angrier he became, causing electricity to crackle around him and the electrical appliances to behave erratically.

Realizing the danger and knowing that if they didn't act, everyone at S.T.A.R. Labs would be at risk, Swayam headed toward his superhero suit and began changing into it.

Caitlin watched anxiously as Swayam suited up. Though she had earlier expressed confidence that nothing would happen to him and that his powers wouldn't be stolen like Barry's, she couldn't help but worry about her lover's safety.

As Swayam finished suiting up and started heading toward the entrance, Farooq used his metahuman ability to absorb all the electricity in the city, causing a massive power outage that plunged the city and S.T.A.R. Labs into darkness. Supercharged by Barry's powers and the absorbed electricity, Farooq began attacking the entrance door.

Just as Swayam was about to rush toward the entrance, Barry, who was deeply concerned for his friend's safety, tried to stop him. Despite Swayam's insistence that someone had to confront Farooq, Barry felt completely useless in that moment.

Cisco, understanding the extreme danger in confronting Farooq, also tried to reason with Swayam, but to no avail. Although Caitlin was just as worried about Swayam as the others, she chose not to stop him. Unlike Barry and Cisco, she trusted her man completely, believing in his ability to handle the situation.
