Chapter seven

As we went out Steve asked me, " you were very amazing in there, but how did you get your hand on those evidence so quickly as if you use some kind of magic" Steve asked in wonder.

" Well, I knew it would come in handy, after all I did slap Mandy and asked her to tell her brother if that's what she wanted, so I had to be ready for the consequences. Back during my school days I was very much interested in computer programming and hacking, so I got tutored for it, I only used it when necessary"

" So when I returned home I knew it would be hard for Mandy not to complain to her brother and not getting myself summoned so I had to be ready. It wasn't easy at all, but I did manage to hack into the CCTV footage of the company and found some deleted files and I recovered them. And guess what, it was all tapes of Mandy's bullying, I copied them down into the flashdrive and kept another copy on my phone, so that was it" I explained.

" Wow, I like your IQ" Steve said with a big smile. Less than 20 mins later, we were summoned back to the meeting room, the atmosphere was thick, and tension was in the air but I didn't let my guard down, I was sure with all the evidence I provided they wouldn't make a decision against me.

Mandy's brother kept scratching his throat unnecessarily before starting. " With all evidence provided and a serious discussion with the board of directors, we have come to a unanimous decision, Ms flynn, you are free of the accusations, and as for you Ms Anderson, you are to take 2 months leave and work on your attitude before coming back to work, and if your attitude doesn't change you would be fired and banned from all companies, you would be put on a blacklit, if no one has anything to say, the meeting is adjourned". Mr Anderson said.

" Brother this isn't fair do something" Mandy said throwing a tantrum. " Kiddo, you did the damage and I can't do anything, you need to take responsibility for your action" Mr Anderson said in a soft tone and took his sister out.

The other lady from the board of directors said to me, " you have got some guts Ms flynn, beware it might end you in trouble".

" The truthful always succed in the end" I replied her an walked out.

To say what I did got me a number of friends and kept bullies at arm length from me. The office became relatively peaceful. Steven and I got closer by the day, he was a real gem of a person. He made sure I joined yoga class for pregnant women, kept on track with my doctor's appointment, helped me do baby shopping and he even read more baby magazines than me, plus he was a great cook.

He cooked me whatever it is I craved for, my refrigerator was always filled up with fresh food and vegetables, he said takeouts are not that healthy compared to home cooked food, no alcoholic drinks for me only soft drinks.

Seriously I felt even the baby papa wouldn't take care of of me as much as Steven does. It's been 5 months since I moved to this country, I was very much in contact with Kendall and Joseph and they were happy for me. I had trusted Steven enough to tell him my story and motive for revenge and he promised to support me till the very end.

This guy was truly a gem, I had gathered a number of important information from the HR department because I had managed to gain the trust of the board of directors, hence I had a good position in the company. Steven and I oftened discuss the revenge process and the company's foundation. We had made list of gem people who could take the company to great heights, they were usually people with good skills and ideas that aren't noticed or overlooked.

Be it neighbors or street people we had taken notice, co-workers at novas, and other companies. Whenever we went out somewhere, we kept clear observation of the people, those that can be resourceful, we had a detailed plan of when and where to start. I created my third fake identity. Eve Jackson, bought a big plot of land and got one wonderful fresh talent artist to do the designs of the company, he was very good, sometimes we need fresh talents as they might have a new insight into the matter. Construction had already began and everything was starting of nicely.

"Good, Thomas, kaida and Helen hope you really are enjoying the last few peaceful years of your life because dooms coming" I thought to myself. I had tried my best to find any information about my dad and I hoped he is safe, because if he isn't I would remove all their skins bare handed.
