Oddly Familiar

The burly bodyguards paid him no mind and continued to yank the man out by his arms, but Amelia frowned.

Related? For all she knew, she only had her father left as her only kin after her mother's passing. Only recently she had reunited with her mother's side of the family, and even so, she was sure this man wasn't one of them. Otherwise, Matteo would've surely recognized him as well.

"Get your hands off of me!" the man continued to scream. He kicked and punched, trying his best to worm free. Then, his eyes fell on Amelia and Matteo, who were trying to walk past him as quickly as they could.

His eyes went wide, and in a sudden burst of strength, he managed to tear free from the grips of the bodyguards. In the short second before those guards could respond, the man darted forward and all but hugged Amelia's legs, unwilling to let go.

"Hey!" Amelia screamed in shock as the man gripped even tighter. "Let go!"
