Punishment!

"VIP roster?" Rayleigh raised an eyebrow in mild interest. "What exactly does that entail?"

He was not surprised that the auction house knew his identity because he had never hidden it. If the people at the auction couldn't even find out this bit of information, then there was no need to mess around.

"It's like this. There is a new Celestial Dragon guest coming to this auction. He is here for the first time and is curious about many things."

"We plan to build a quality roster on top of the base roster."

"The boutique list is full of exotic goods, and the price will be three to five times higher. This amount of money is nothing to Celestial Dragons."

The auctioneer explained with a smile.

It was a bit cryptic, but Rayleigh understood it immediately.

He looked at the senior management with a half-smile and said, "You are indeed bold, but fooling a Celestial Dragon is a very risky thing. Are you really sure?"

Rayleigh wasn't worried about the auction itself. Rather, he didn't want the auction to go awry and cause the forces in this area to be reshuffled. That would disrupt his retirement.

"Haha, we have full confidence in this," the senior management smiled confidently and said.

"The Celestial Dragon who came this time is only ten years old, and he is at the stage of being most curious. The goods we filled in the high-quality roster are also specially tailored to children's preferences."

Seeing that the top management was so confident, Rayleigh chose not to argue further.

"I'll stay out of it. Proceed with your little game," he remarked casually, signaling the end of the conversation.

"Yes." Upon hearing this, the senior management bowed and left. If it weren't for Rayleigh's identity, he wouldn't have asked specifically.

Watching the senior management leave, Rayleigh shook his head, picked up his wine bottle again, and drank slowly. He was just there to get some drink money.

Besides, a shipwright slave is not the target of a ten-year-old Celestial Dragon at all. The auction will hype him up, and the other party will probably not be interested. In the end, it will enter the unsold auction process to see which unlucky person is willing to pay.

The auction side quickly completed the list of fine products. They sent their ace salesman to the hotel, waited for a day and a night, and finally got the chance to meet Lakeman.

"Lord Lakeman, this is the exclusive VIP list provided for you by the auction," the man in a suit and leather shoes presented the list with both hands with a flattering smile.

A guard took it over, checked it was correct, and handed it over to the butler. After the butler inspected it, it was finally handed over to Lakeman.

"VIP roster?"

Lakeman became curious after hearing this, took the roster, and looked through it.

"Yes, they are all high-quality goods in this auction. They are specially made into a booklet so that you can easily find the goods you like," the ace salesman replied with a smile and bowed.

After saying this, the ace salesman secretly looked forward to it. In the imagination of the backbone of the auction, the ten-year-old Celestial Dragon, Lakeman, would be immediately attracted by their carefully selected goods and say on the spot that he would buy the goods in advance.

After being embarrassed, he would grit his teeth and agree to sell thirty to fifty pieces of goods.

After more than fifty, they would refuse Lakeman's purchase on the grounds that the goods were still in transit and had not yet arrived at the Sabaody Archipelago. At the same time, it would mean that the transport team would also collect precious items on the road.

When the auction begins, goods not on the list would be sent to the auction block. This would seduce Lakeman's urge to spend heavily on the day of the auction.

This was a perfect plan. The salesman believed that Lakeman would be excited immediately and, as they expected, would express his desire to buy the items on the boutique list.

Celestial Dragons have early purchase privileges. The auction house generally won't refuse; after all, it doesn't matter who you sell it to. But if they can earn more money, they will try to refuse in a roundabout way.

Even if it offends the Celestial Dragons, they are not afraid of being killed. When the profit is over 100%, everyone becomes a desperate criminal. Before the ace salesman left, he had already received a resettlement allowance. If he could go back smoothly, he would have another large sum of money!

"What is this trash?" Lakeman frowned deeply, his voice laced with disdain as he scanned the list.

The air was quiet in an instant. The word "trash" directly shattered the beautiful imagination in the ace salesman's mind.

Choke—

The servants and guards around Lakeman drew their weapons one after another, staring at the ace salesman with unfriendly eyes.

The ace salesman had cold sweat on his head and asked quickly, "Sir, these are all the top-quality goods carefully selected by our auction house. Surely, there's something to your liking?"

His brain turned rapidly, trying to understand why this was happening. The auction backbone spent several days and nights researching and producing a fine list, which should be very much in line with the heart of the Celestial Dragon's young master. Why was he hated? What did he do wrong?

"A bunch of garbage, you dare to provide it to me?" Lakeman sneered and threw the so-called VIP list on the ace salesman's face.

Bang!

The bridge of the ace salesman's nose was directly broken, blood flowed, and a dizzying pain broke out. But he dared not move, let alone dodge.

"My lord, please forgive me!" the ace salesman bent down in fear and trembled.

"Heh..." Lakeman sneered, his eyes sarcastic.

The so-called VIP list was full of things to deceive children, like a plastic gun that makes a sound. Useless, but expensive. At the same time, it was mixed with some useless, but exaggerated introduction words, and ridiculously high prices.

You could tell at a glance that they were here to fool people. The Celestial Dragons who fool people with a lot of money. Unfortunately, he was neither a child who would be attracted by strange things nor a Celestial Dragon who was as stupid as a pig.

"..."

The ace salesman bowed deeply and did not dare to stand up. Hearing Lakeman's sneer, he felt like he was falling into an ice cave, and his blood seemed to be frozen. He realized that the auction plan had failed. The VIP list not only failed to deceive this Celestial Dragon master, but was directly seen through.

'It's over.'

The ace salesman wailed in his heart, full of despair.

"Break his mouth, hands, and feet. Then gouge out his eyes and throw him back to the auction," Lakeman said coldly.

"Yes!"

A guard took the order and stepped forward, grabbing the ace salesman's hair, lifting his head.

Snap! Snap!

Two slaps were hard on his left and right cheeks. The force of the slaps made the ace salesman's head spin, blood spraying from his mouth as several teeth were knocked loose. He gasped in pain but dared not resist, knowing that any further defiance would result in worse punishment.

"Please... mercy..." the salesman begged, tears mixing with the blood streaming down his face.

"Mercy?" Lakeman laughed darkly. "You thought you could fool me and get away with it? This is the price of your insolence."

"Useless junk," he muttered, tossing the roster aside. "I won't be fooled by such obvious tricks."

The guard grabbed the salesman's jaw and forced it open, shoving a thick cloth inside to muffle his screams.

One guard twisted the man's arm behind his back, snapping it with a gruesome crack that echoed through the quiet room. Another guard delivered a harsh kick to the salesman's knee, breaking it, ensuring the pain was excruciating and the damage severe.

The salesman's muffled cries of agony filled the air as the guard continued his brutal work. Once his limbs were shattered, the guard pulled out a small, curved knife and, with chilling precision, gouged out the salesman's eyes.

Blood poured down the salesman's face as he slumped to the ground, his body convulsing in shock and pain.
