I am once again being summoned to this platform because yoojee dropped yet another novel.
The prologue chapter is fire, we have a glimpse of FL's character development and the direction of the story. The scummy husband is not getting any redemption which is amazing.
Amelie deserves a separate section of the review. She has a strong personality but she is still just as vulnerable as anyone else when it comes to dealing with such a trying issue as betrayal and divorce.
Although the divorce will only happen later in the novel, don't get discouraged! This story goes under the trope "the rich also cry" and will give you real characters with real emotions, thoughts and flaws, and real character development so I strongly recommend you keep on reading because yoojee never fails to deliver good stories!
