Ch 278: Why I did not take you out

Emily was not having a good day.

It all started with this weird feeling she had when she woke up. Her instincts kept screaming at her and begging her to call Rika immediately.

The female alpha wanted to call Rika as soon as she had her weird feelings again, but she ignored it repeatedly while getting ready for work.

Emily had no time to waste during the morning, but she vowed to go after Rika once it was evening.

But the day just kept getting worse for her.

People made annoying mistakes, and the slightest thing was blown out of proportion.

A war was approaching, and everyone felt tense about overcoming it. Emily felt tired by the end of the working day.

But her feeling of something being 'off' did not go away. Emily continued to have that feeling until she got off work and received a call from Mark Goodwill.

He did not call Emily out of the blue, so she debated whether to pick up his call.
