Ch 191: I could care less

That poor beta looked ready to cry. Rika felt sorry for her, but at the same time, she also felt annoyed by the Alpha using Rika's chair to act as a barrier between himself and that crying beta in front of him.

"Zhu Li, did you do this? Were you the reason John and Betty died? What did you do?"

The beta questioned as she tried to hold back her tears and yell simultaneously. It was clear that she was exhausted but still trying her best to cope with the loss.

And what did Zhu Li do when he heard these accusations? 

He threw his head back and let out a loud laugh.

"Fuck! This is hilarious. To accuse me of all this…you are good, kid. However, if I were the one who took care of those two, I would have made sure no one found out about it and the bodies."
