Ch 155: Not going to happen

All nice things must end, and Rika's arrangement with her friends was no different. 

The fifteen minutes Rika spent cuddling with her friends felt like an eternity, but they did not feel long enough. 

Her body and instincts yearned for more, but her rational side was racing against time, cautioning her to withdraw before the situation escalated.

"I…think I am fine now. I should head out and check up on Charon. I must also head back and sleep since classes start tomorrow."

Rika made an excuse to pull herself away from Emily and Damian's side.

Their arms remained around Rika for a few seconds longer than she anticipated, sparking a glimmer of hope for more.

"Alright! We understand. You go ahead, Rika. We will follow you in a second."

Emily assured Rika as she leaned against Damian's chest. Her breathing felt laboured, and there was an unnatural blush on her face.
