West Blue: The Impenetrable Fortress - 80th Marine Division

Before the battle of Marineford, the 80th Marine Division was just another base. However, after Whitebeard revealed the existence of the One Piece, a wave of pirates prepared to enter the Grand Line, endangering innocent lives.

The other Marine bases in West Blue lay in ruins. Only the 80th Division remained intact. The Marines significantly reinforced this base, drastically reducing the number of pirates entering the Grand Line.

Becoming the largest naval base in West Blue and under the motto of Absolute Justice, the 80th Division stood as an impenetrable fortress, protecting the region from the pirate threat.

Dozens of Marines, impeccable in their uniforms, stood at the entrance of the base, their gazes fixed on the endless sea horizon.

At the front of the group, Captain Shapu, with his justice cape billowing in the wind, frowned as he murmured, "Could something have happened?"

The unease was palpable. Vice Admiral Tokikake had departed hours ago with a fleet of three warships.

His destination: West Blue. Captain Shapu, eager to receive the high-ranking officer, had prepared a formal welcome and a base where he could rest.

However, the sun was already setting, and there was no news of the Vice Admiral….

A soldier approached Captain Shapu and whispered in his ear, "I couldn't establish communication with the Vice Admiral's ship. Headquarters hasn't been able to contact him either. It seems the fleet has disappeared after entering West Blue!"

Surprise reflected on Captain Shapu's face. "Disappeared?" he exclaimed incredulously. "That's impossible. With Vice Admiral Tokikake's strength and three warships, who in this sea could be his match?"

A deathly silence took over the base. The trainees exchanged looks of bewilderment and doubt. The tension intensified with each minute that passed without news.

Five minutes... Thirty minutes... Five hours... Time seemed to stretch in an agony of uncertainty. The atmosphere grew increasingly solemn, laden with an ominous feeling no one wanted to voice.

The deathly silence that reigned in the base was abruptly broken by a cry of exclamation from the watchtower. A soldier, with a telescope in hand, pointed towards the sky: "Look! Isn't that bird in the sky too big?"

Shapu, with his heart pounding with unease, raised his gaze and focused on the point indicated.

What he saw froze him on the spot. It wasn't a bird but a colossal pteranodon, with the peculiarity that its back was wrapped in flames and its body covered in clothing.

As an experienced officer, he instantly recognized a pirate. And this wasn't just any pirate: it was King the Wildfire, one of Kaido's Disasters, with a bounty exceeding a billion berries.

Captain Shapu's expression shifted from astonishment to panic and terror. He couldn't understand what was happening. They were supposed to be receiving Vice Admiral Tokikake, but instead, they were faced with one of the most feared pirates of the New World.

"Where is Vice Admiral Tokikake?" Shapu asked quietly, as sweat soaked his clothes and left him paralyzed by shock.

A shiver ran through the base. Another Marine, binoculars in hand, shouted in terror, "It's not a bird! It's a pirate! King the Wildfire, with a bounty of over a billion berries!"

A murmur of disbelief spread among the Marines. "Isn't Vice Admiral Tokikake chasing King?" they asked each other. "How has this bastard reached the base?"

The tension intensified as reality set in.

King, with his imposing figure and resonant voice beneath his mask, landed smoothly on top of the watchtower. With a question rumbling in the air: "Are you waiting for Tokikake's arrival?"

A deathly silence took over the base. No Marine dared to respond. Captain Shapu, petrified by fear, faced a pirate of such caliber for the first time. The pressure King exerted on him was almost palpable, robbing him of breath and leaving him speechless.

"Tch." King, seeing the Marines' cowardice, clicked his tongue in disdain. He didn't bother attacking these weaklings. Instead, he tossed a bloodied bag at Shapu's feet, who seemed to be the strongest of the group.

"I'll do you a favor and tell you that the person you're waiting for is already dead," King declared coldly and mercilessly. "Inform Marine Headquarters and tell them that a true battle will begin soon..."

With a sweep of his gigantic wings, King soared into the sky and disappeared into the vast blue.

"He's on another level..." Shapu, still trembling from the experience, watched King's back recede into the distance. A sigh of relief escaped his lips. But the calm didn't last long. The bloodied bag at his feet gave him a terrible premonition.

"Impossible..."

With trembling hands, Shapu carefully untied the bag. He opened it and looked inside. His eyes widened, and a choked scream escaped his throat before he collapsed to the ground, unconscious
