Ace flew home and looked at the other Pokemon.
They looked at him and Ace sighed, "Let's start training." The Pokemon cheered and they started running again, picking up Roark on the way.
The time started passing again.
There wasn't much to go except train and train some more!
Elesa called him frequently during this time, detailing her days and shows. Ace typed on the computer, nodding on and on, "Oh, uh huh, yeah, okay, oh!" he often added, "Stop calling this number. Leave me alone. Etc."
But never actually hung up when she called…
Meanwhile
Elesa was creating a storm!
With the addition of Toxel, Pichu, Velovish, and Zapdos her fame was climbing rapidly!
She called telling Ace that the egg hatched a Zapdos and Ace said "Wow! I found that egg in an ancient Ruin!" successfully fooling the lunatic. Ace told her to train them hard otherwise he would take them back, but Elesa waved, "Don't worry, I'm a Gym leader, right?!"
Ace's lips twitched, he didn't have the heart to tell her that she was the easiest Gym Leader to slaughter…
Hey, all I need is a Diglett and you're doomed, okay?!
During these calls and video chats, Ace taught her some battle knowledge and the like, making her battling skills surge in a straight line!
Around 6 months since the Fossil Exhibit…
Ace was reading a Magazine.
'Strength and Beauty! World Renown Gym Leader Elesa thundershocks the audience with her electrifyingly good looks and monstrous trainer strength!'
On the cover it had a photo of Elesa, lying on a throne that seemed to be crackling with electricity. She was wearing a black dress and black high heels with her long legs exposed in a very sexy position…
Bah!
Ace slapped himself, looking at the Toxtricity and Zapdos in the picture. The Toxtricity was an Amped Form and looked very powerful from the picture. At least, Ace could tell it was well bred.
After all, he basically trained it himself!
Elesa sent over her Pokemon sometimes to 'cultivate feelings' as she said. But what did Ace know about feelings? He trained these little guys extremely hard!
As he read the magazine, a Machoke walked over, flexing. Ace looked at him and shook his head, "You need to train your back muscles more." Machoke scratched his head, thinking about the man in a video he saw on Ace's Rotom form.
That man flexed his back and it turned into a scary face!
Machoke was so amazed, the man was turned into his idol directly!
Ace looked at Machoke trying to imitate Yujiro and shook his head. These Pokemon sure were weird!
He had a Sirfetch'd that was trying to become Zoro and was teaching a Machoke that was trying to become Yujiro!
What's next? An Emolga trying to become Mikoto the Human Railgun?
Please!
That's impossible!
Ace checked his Pokemon levels and nodded to himself.
Apart from Noibat, who hasn't evolved yet, the rest have reached levels in their 70s.
Noibat was at level 60 and Ace was trying to encourage him to Evolve, but Noibat wasn't feeling it for some reason. Ace figured out the reason and had black lines on his head. This funny guy said that if he got too big, he couldn't sit on Ace's head anymore.
Ace didn't even know what to say.
If he didn't evolve, then he couldn't learn Boomburst which meant that Noibat would start falling behind in his team.
As his Ace, this was unacceptable!
He was trying to encourage him these days…
As for Machoke, he was only level 50.
Ace was going to wait until Machoke hit level 60 and learned Cross Chop before giving him a Link Cable. However, he noticed that recently their leveling speed has slowed down dramatically!
He didn't really understand why.
But he was trying new things like sparring for training.
Anyway, all this was experimental in nature. In the future, Ace would have a more concrete plan when training Pokemon. It was all about Trial and Error really!
A side note, Roark was getting more proficient in Battling and his Pokemon Evolved to their final States.
An Alolan Golem and a Coalossal.
As for Mystery Gifts, maybe he used up all his luck with Elesa, but he only received two luck explosions.
[Hisuian Growlithe Egg]
[Duraludon Egg]
He had given Byron the Pawniard and Duraludon Eggs together a few months ago and passed the Hisuian Growlithe Egg to Roark at the same time.
The father and son were both embarrassed but Ace expressed that he went digging for Fossils in the Mines and came across Ruins that had these eggs in them.
He wasn't lying about the ruins!
But obviously, the eggs were lies.
Ace even showed Byron and Roark the ruins he found, finding some more fossils and the like.
The rest of the gifts were more foodstuffs and Pokeblocks.
As for everything else, it was running smoothly. Porygon hatched in the Laptop and started helping him make the PkmnEats app along with the Fire Red and Leaf Green games.
At the same time, Ace came into contact with Silph Co. and started production of Gameboys. Of course, these Gameboys were super high tech, equivalent to Rotom Phones in technological level.
They were also not exactly Gameboys in the traditional sense, but more like a Hybrid of all consoles put together.
It was very complicated and Ace didn't understand any of it. He only sent the blueprints he compiled from the System with the help of Rotom and Porygon. After that it was out of his hands, he only had to worry about the game.
Ace decided in the end to just use Giovanni directly without asking him.
It didn't really matter that much, right?
Not to mention, he made Giovanni the charismatic figure from his childhood… as well as a nightmare!
Because Ace did what Gamefreak refused to do!
He added a Hardmode!
This Hardmode is what every Pokemon lover above the age of 7 wants! A much more challenging and difficult version of the game!
Sonia even connected him with the Rotom Phone Manufacturer in Galar, allowing him to sell Rotom Phones in all other regions…
Well, the process was a bit more complicated.
Essentially, Ace 'came up' with a Rotom Pokedex that functioned as both a Phone and a Pokedex and sent it to the Rotom Phone Manufacturer. He had to say, people were kind enough!
They didn't steal his design, but gave him a cut of all profits in a 50/50 split. Mainly because of the design, but also because he basically connected all the Professors together with the company.
This would open up new avenues for the Rotom Company in the future so they were generous.
Anyway!
What happened was, these new RotomDexes replaced the older Pokedexes and Rotom Phones, becoming the new standard. Of course, this was Ace's plan.
For PkmnEats, everyone needed to have a Phone!
And the popularization of technological products would pave the way for his game system.
This only had benefits and no downsides.
It was basically black technology anyway because it was created by the Rotom and Porygon! So Ace paid nothing and was getting money for free!
Back to the Games, the Hard Mode was really spectacular.
Even Ace had trouble with it!
The tricky part was that the Trainer AI was specifically an offshoot of Rotom's own AI that had fused with the system.
This meant that Rotom had 1. Full inhibited access to the internet and all files everywhere leading to it learning all the habits and battle techniques used by the people involved. All the Gym Leaders and named Trainers had special AI that allowed them to perform above what they could.
And 2. The AI could 'learn' in a sense. What that meant was, it scanned the game progress and analyzed the player's team composition before making the required adjustments.
The AI was trying to win! That was probably the scariest part.
Ace input his own battle knowledge into the Laptop via a memory scan. So all the 20 years of Battle Knowledge and even the years of Radical Red gameplay or even Emerald Kaizo was input into the laptop for Rotom and Porygon to review at will.
Therefore, the AI can use any tactics it wants. Held items, switching out, performing OH-KO combos, etc!
Honestly, this Hyper Intelligent AI made Ace excited to get abused again!
Only after being abused can we learn!
He thought of the faces of millions of people and grinned evilly.
Now you'll all know the torture of being subpar trainers! HAHAHAHA!
When Diamond and Pearl came out, you can taste the sweetness of being abused by Cynthia over and over again!
Truthfully, Ace really let out a 'Muahahaha' at this moment.
At any rate, these 6 months were both very eventful and at the same time, not really!
