Cardio

Two weeks later.

Tomura had been staying at the gym, luckily its a 24/7 gym and it doesn't say you can't sleep in there so he just goes to a storage room filled with old gym mats and sleeps in there.

He's been practically living on stolen snacks and protein bars from the staff vending machine, when it's night no staff come in and he can sneak into the staff room and take advantage of the all inclusive staff vending machine.

Surprisingly he had put on quite a bit of muscle, given he spends 12 hours a day working out it's not the biggest surprise but even Kaiser, the 16 year old guy he met his first day is surprised by the muscle growth and his apparent muscle density.

Tomura still isn't used to the gym terms that kaiser uses, he's luckily found a way to wash his clothes and it's simple, just wash them in the shower.

So right now Tomura is living life, well he would be living life if not for the constant voice in his head.

Destroy

He's only used his ability twice since he got here and both times were accidents when he had been picking up plates luckily no one noticed.

"You say you found a mutant?" Fury asked one of his agents who nodded with a solemn look on his face.

"Okay! Well explain agent" Fury shouted with a tone of an angry parent.

Said agent nodded quickly and explained with a frantic edge to his voice. "Well I saw him disintegrate a 50 plate out of thin air!" He explained quickly the incident had been in his head all week.

Fury nodded "Yeah that's what your partner was saying" he had first questioned the man's partner Agent Lawko who brought it up to him. "So we had a look at the gyms cameras and caught it clear as day"

Fury leant forward and narrowed his eye at the agent "So, Why didn't you come to me earlier" he said slowly with a strict stern tone that had the agent shaking in his boots.

The agent swallowed "Sir, th-the guy knows that I know, I-" he took a deep breath "whenever I'm in the gym now, it doesn't matter when I'm in…hes there, watching" the agent breathing hitched "He knows I saw him turn that plate to dust." His breathing fastened "He's gonna know, he's gonna kill me boss"

Fury sighed, when they checked the cameras they also found the teenager sleeping in the storage room.

"Boss he must be following me or know my schedule-"

"Stop Agent!" Fury said sternly.

"He does not know where you live" Fury raised his palm to stop the agent from speaking. "He lives at the gym…but I do thank you for bringing this to my attention." He gestured to the door for the embarrassed agent to leave.

But this teenager is worrying, that ability could be useful on his side. Fury picked up his phone and gave a call to an agent of his.

"I have a mission for you."

Destroy

Tomura was working on his back, his whole body was aching, it had been this whole time he was here but that burn meant that his body was improving. Every second here his body was improving and getting stronger.

He grunted as he pulled down on the handle and felt a smile come onto his face as Kaiser patted his back with a smack that almost winded him.

Tomura stood with a bounce in his step, Kaiser was his competition and someone he wanted to be stronger than so he had been working for that goal but was still nowhere near.

"Hahahaha! Let's go box!" Kaiser shouted and handed him a pair of gloves. Tomura furrowed his eyebrows and looked down at the pair of battered leather gloves.

"What? Where did you get these from?" He asked, he never knew Kaiser boxed, he hadn't mentioned it before.

Destroy

Kaiser laughed again, he always laughed "Over there!" He pointed at a slim woman with red hair who was viciously punching a nearby boxing bag.

He felt a bead of sweat roll down his face and into his eye as he watched the beautiful woman punch the heavy bag.

He gulped and looked away, he felt awkward. Kaiser ignored that and started to drag him over to the woman who was at least 10 years older than both of them.

Saying that…he didn't know how old he was either, he sighed and shook his head. That's a thought for later.

"Hahaha teacher, I brought my friend here" Kaiser laughed.

Teacher? Kaiser must know her from somewhere.

The woman turned to the teenage duo and smiled lightly "Kaiser you came to learn from the best, huh?" Her accent was odd, he couldn't place it at all.

Kaiser only laughed and responded in his booming voice.

He heard the woman laugh "Put on the gloves then kids, you too Albino" he scowled at that and felt his palms sweat.

Destroy.

He put the gloves on and tightened them around his wrists "I'll spar Kaiser first, Albino see if you can pick anything up" the woman said with a playful tone.

Something was wrong with this woman.

The image of the Hand flashed in front of his eyes.

Destroy

He shook his head at the annoying thought.

This woman moved unnaturally fast, she avoided Kaiser's lumbering strikes with ease and responded ten times faster with accurate perfectly timed strikes.

"Ahaha Teacher you're too good!" Kaiser shouted mid spar and just missed another punch.

Why does he call her teacher and not her damn name.

"Remember Kaiser, Timing and Accuracy beat power" she said as she dodged under another hit and then struck Kaiser's chin with an uppercut that rocked the teenager's whole body.

He fell to the mat with a crash and groaned as he held his already bruising chin in his hand.

The woman had already turned to him and he met her eyes. "Ready or not, Albino" he felt his fists clench involuntary.

Destroy

He sighed at the persistent thought, he couldn't disintegrate the woman in the open. He's honestly surprised the mutants haven't showed up yet and kicked in his teeth.

Well…he could disintegrate the woman, only then he would need to turn everyone here to dust and then bring the whole gym down as well.

He wouldn't ruin his temporary home just for a single word.

"C'mon hurry up Albino"

Maybe he would destroy this damn gym.

He stepped close to the woman and could smell the cheap perfume on her form, she hadn't even broken a sweat. Meanwhile he had been in here 4 hours already and felt like his back was on fire.

Nevermind the rest of his body which was recovering from previous workouts. He bounced on his toes and met eyes with the woman who without a second to breathe sent a strike his way.

He stepped back and almost tripped on his own feet, he could feel embarrassment already filling his mind.

That didn't cease when she caught him with a right hook that sent him onto his back either.

He scowled as he looked up to the woman and stood, he was hit again, and again, and again. But he stood up afterwards, he already felt maximum embarrassment. It quite literally could not get worse unless he walked away a sore loser.

After 15 minutes of being beat constantly he was finally able to dodge a hit smoothly, then after 25 minutes Kaiser left to get his protein in or something.

After an hour he had dodged over 15 hits.

Then after 2 hours the woman announced she needed to leave, she still hadn't broken a damn sweat. He however was heavily panting and fell to the floor in a heap.

"Work on your cardio, it's shitty albino" he heard the woman shout at him from the entrance, he growled but took her advice to heart.

Kaiser had said cardio kills your gains but if cardio makes you last longer in a fight or makes him able to run from people above his level, he's willing to start on that.

He looked out the glass doors of the gym and decided to get some fresh air and then get to conditioning.

Any opinions appreciated!
