The wine cup was placed on the table and then Virtya picked up his chillum before he took a puff. He breathed out a ring of smoke and sighed.
"This is a good stuff..." "Eeerm... Please look at these architectures, these are the structures that I am going to work on for the remaining days of the month of October and next month." Virtya pushed the designs drawn on paper for Alexandre to see.
"Well" Alexandre took a sit in front of Virtya and stared at the table, he could smell the wine from the kettle but there was no cup nearby which he could use to pour some wine for himself.
He hesitated and sighed before he shifted his focus onto the designs on the table.
The first paper had a design of a building which was like a warehouse but this building would be large and it was not a storey building. The cost of constructing this structure was merely 50, 000 gold coins.
"That is a working station of mine. I plan to use this station to build a few steam engines. In addition, this station will be built in the backyard of this palace, I don't want it to be far away where it will take time and money for me to access." Virtya said to Alexandre who was inspecting the design.
"This one looks very much simple but I can see some mechanisms being used. If I am correct, these mechanisms need power so that they could run, Where will you get this power?" Alexandre asked after he took a peek at a certain part of the working station. The cost of building this working station was small because its structure was not that complicated.
In addition, there was no cost incurred to side expenditures like paying for evacuation and the workers because Virtya was building this working station in his backyard and the ones who would be building this structure were the slaves because beside the mechanism, the rest part of the working station was mundane.
"Don't worry. The mechanism of this working station is only meant to make the work at the station easier but the use of the mechanism can also be ignored if some workers are employed to fit in the place where the mechanism would have been useful."
"What I mean to say is that, I will employ some workers to help me in making the steam engine and when I have a complete steam engine, it will be what will power that mechanism and then I will never longer need the service of those workers."
"The mechanism will be very useful in the working station because you know, sometimes I don't like the company of people when I'm doing something serious."
Alexandre nodded his head and turned to the second paper, here, Alexandre could see that this project was going to be erected at the blacksmithing guild of Whiten. On the paper, Alexandre could see that Virtya wanted to build even more furnaces at the blacksmithing guild.
The blacksmithing guild building itself was not going to be built or upgraded but there would be an addition of several different designs of furnaces and the construction of these furnaces would cost one million gold coins.
One should know that Virtya was going to built twenty furnaces with each one of them having their own designs.
However, the biggest furnace of them all was the furnace that was going to help in the production of the stainless steel.
Other furnaces include the ones that would help in the baking of ceramics, glass production and the smelting of sulphur, aluminum, copper, iron and other metals and nonmetals.
Of course, Virtya was building these fundamental furnaces because he had already gotten a positive reply from the kingdom of Ugley.
One should know that the messengers used the help of the birds in sending out the letters and that was why the message could reach where it was intended to at the right time, the messengers just had to be at the specific places where the birds would find them before the letters were taken from the birds and given to the next birds because it was impossible for a single bird to go for a very long distance with the letters in their grip.
Anyway, in the letters, the king of Ugley confirmed his visit to Azuhai before 25th December and this date was when the king of Ugley would use the chance to talk to Virtya about the deal in detail.
On the third paper, Alexandre saw the design of a new Whiten market and a public square which would cost 500, 000 gold coins to build, while on the fourth paper, he saw that Virtya was planning the construction of a mega school in Whiten.
This school would be so big and even if it would not have all the facilities needed, Virtya had done as much as he could to make sure that it was the best place for the geniuses.
This school woud be the first place in Whiten and the entire world to have a sewage system and modern lavatories. Virtya was also planning to build mini- stadiums for a few different sports at the compound of this school. However, the construction of this school would cost 3 million gold coins while the construction of the sewage system and the water treatment plant would cost 500, 000 gold coins.
