"Our first priority right now is to find a way out," A'niu said.
"Right, exactly. How are you two doing? Can you walk?" Ye Ruoxue asked with concern.
A'ning flexed his muscles and said, "I'm fine, miss. I feel no different from before."
"I'm alright too," Uncle Ma said.
So the four of them trudged on, with each step more difficult than the last.
The sun began to drift westward.
As the day waned, the desolation around them persisted.
Not a sign of human life in sight.
"At this pace, it'll be an eternity before we get out of here."
Ye Ruoxue was somewhat anxious.
A'niu looked around and suggested, "Let's do this, you guys wait here and rest, and I'll go ahead to scout."
A'niu had Divine Power within him and could run as fast as the wind. If it weren't for his concern for them, he would have already made it to the city.
"Alright, that's the only option we have," Ye Ruoxue responded.
"Uncle Ma, A'ning, take good care of the miss. I'll be back before dark for sure."
