Yeah, translator I think you should switch novels. This one lost the mc for 20 chapters. This means the author lost the sense of story. Probably either a novel thats is dropped or is garbage and not worth reading. Afterall what’s the point of watching napoleons story when we all know it.

The protagonist is just a junior officer who has recently graduated from military school and cannot influence the war or political situation. He can only offer some advice to Napoleon. The early stages involve the protagonist building up his prestige, and only when he has reached a high enough position can he change history, right?
