Lucas Shield

Standing at the edge of a cliff, Alex looked towards the city zone with a deep frown on his face. Considering the distance, it would take about five days to get there.

"Lucas, How many teams are in this competition?" Alex asked.

"Eighty, my Lord." Lucas said with a slight bow.

His response made Alex frown slightly.

"You are my partner now… There is no reason to refer to me that way." Alex said with a frown, but Lucas shook his head.

"My father gave me up to serve your family… regardless of my position, I will carry on that duty to the end." Lucas said calmly, causing Alex to let out a heavy sigh.

Lucas was the son of the B-rated sidekick, Shield. The one who Lucius fought when he ambushed the convoy in hopes of killing Doctor Lisa.

Unlike his father, Lucius simply had the barrier ability, rated C at best because it lacked the kinetic absorption effects that his father had.
