"Hello! Is someone awake?" Andy asked in a low voice as he rolled over and sat up.
"Me!"
"Me!"
"And me, I'm awake too."
Anthony, Michael, and Terry reported in turn, three pairs of bright eyes curiously sizing Andy up in the darkness.
"Andy, I thought you were asleep!"
"Yeah! We don't even dare to discuss things out loud in our meetings."
"Andy, is something wrong?"
With Andy's question, the dormitory forum, which had already closed, once again opened up for discussion.
The little ones were amazingly energetic.
"Uh ..."
Andy deliberated for a moment and tentatively asked, "Let me ask you guys a question! It's ... uh, what kind of person do you guys think I am?"
Anthony, Michael, and Terry: "..."
In the middle of the night, you're asking us this question?
Are you trying to get us to compliment you?
Is that what you think we are here for?
"I'm serious!"
Andy said in a serious tone, "No need to consider the relationship between us, just from a spectator's point of view, what kind of person do you guys think I am?"
Michael began, "A magic genius?"
Anthony added, "Got a knack for picking up chicks, just doesn't have a great eye, you might consider visiting a healer."
Terry added last, "Very hard worker, we don't usually see you around."
Andy: "..."
Andy thought he might be asking the wrong person, this is a question he should ask Malfoy.
People who were a little sinister on the inside would look at other people and find them sinister as well.
Evidently, Malfoy is such a person.
"Forget it, let's go to bed!" Andy laid down on his bed with a 'thud'.
"Andy, since you asked, I'll say a few words from my heart!"
Anthony suddenly said, "You won't be angry, right?"
"Of course not!" Andy became interested, "Go ahead and say it."
Anthony hesitated for a while and said, "Honestly, Andy, I think you're quite arrogant."
Andy: "?"
Andy admitted that he had been a bit inflated lately, especially this semester, Andy had dared to play a duel with Snape and didn't have much reverence in front of Dumbledore.
But in front of his classmates, Andy had always felt that he was quite amiable.
It was also mainly because it wouldn't be much fun to play a duel with them.
A bunch of little rookies.
Besides, there were quite a few arrogant people in Hogwarts, right?
In this era, unlike the Asian side that advocated humility, people over here advocated the freedom of individuality, and many of them had wildly flamboyant personalities. Even Ron, who is not too conspicuous, can blow the sky when he brags.
The ones like Andy are considered low-key.
Anthony's tone was a bit serious, "Some people look arrogant, but when they behave like that, they're actually doing it to attract attention."
"But you don't care about that at all."
"Or rather, you've never put others in your eyes, so you don't care what others think. In the whole of Hogwarts, I don't think you consider anyone else but Hermione a friend as well."
Andy listened in thought at that.
Anthony continued, "Well! Those are my personal opinions, you're actually quite a nice person, at least most people don't hate you."
Michael asked curiously, "Andy, why are you suddenly asking us such questions?"
Andy laughed, "To summarize myself! Alright, go to sleep, we still have class tomorrow."
Calmness returned to the dormitory once again.
Andy lay on the bed, but in his heart, he vaguely understood why Voldemort's Horcrux would be interested in him.
Perhaps in the eyes of people like Voldemort, I am very similar to him.
The same overly talented, the same pursuit of power, the same view of others as nothing.
If Voldemort's Horcrux knew a little more, he would even be able to detect the 'bad blood' between Andy and Dumbledore.
What a good pawn to use!
Perhaps in Voldemort's Horcrux's opinion, Andy was someone who could be wooed and utilized.
Who is he? He is Voldemort!
He could grant Andy great power and eternal life.
Thinking along this line of thought, Voldemort's behaviour this time could be explained.
And now the only question that remained unanswered was, the one Voldemort chose, why would it be Ron?
With this question in mind, Andy entered dreamland.
***
The next morning, the owl flew into the Great Hall and brought Andy an anonymous letter.
Andy wore an expression of 'I knew it'.
Opening the envelope, Andy quickly skimmed through it.
The contents of the letter could be summarized in one sentence.
I am Voldemort, give me some money!
"What in the world is going on with this strong style of scam text messages ..." Andy didn't know how to complain for a while.
Voldemort was arrogant, he identified himself directly in the letter and said that he was responsible for the last two attacks at Hogwarts.
He had lost his powers that night ten years ago but was not dead.
He is planning to resurrect.
He can grant Andy great power and immortality if he can help him.
In the letter, Voldemort also acted as if he knew Andy well.
He analyses Andy's character once again from every aspect, he says that Andy is the same kind of person as him, and he also says that Dumbledore is a hypocrite and that we both see him for what he really is.
Most importantly, as a sign of sincerity, Voldemort also revealed information about magic transfiguration in his letter - a valuable conclusion that Voldemort came to after experimenting with it himself.
"As expected!"
Andy pinched the letter paper between the fingers of his index and middle fingers, and with a shake of his young hand, the letter paper automatically burned up.
Voldemort had indeed come to his door.
To be honest, Andy was a little tempted.
If this person was not Voldemort, Andy might have agreed to meet him.
What kind of person was Voldemort?
Would he share power and immortality with others?
Absolutely not!
Instead of believing Voldemort's promise, Snape would fall in love with Andy's aunt.
Andy gazed around the room and realized that no one in the great hall was staring at him.
'Looks like Voldemort is still being cautious.' Andy thought to himself.
Voldemort had requested at the end of his letter, and if Andy complied, it meant that Andy had agreed to his offer. When he left Hogwarts, he would send over the materials that followed.
'Should I lure the snakes out?' Andy was a bit hesitant.
After all, the Avada Kedavra magic beam kills when it touches, and wizards are not combatants, so why would they play with someone's life?
What's more, Hogwarts still has Dumbledore!
Tsk!
Actually, Andy somewhat understood why his [Will] attribute only had two points.
In a breezy situation, and in battles that were not life-threatening, Andy could utilize his full strength. But in battles that truly involved life and death, Andy would be very hesitant.
After all, Andy was just an ordinary person who had not experienced any special training.
In his two lives, not to mention fighting for his life, he had only fought a few fights with his buddies when he was a child.
