Chapter 56 I discovered the secret of Voldemort’s power

Andy walked slowly along the bookshelves in the restricted section, the books here were completely different from those outside, just by seeing the covers of these books, Andy had a creepy feeling.

Andy casually pulled out a book.

Taboo Magic Experiments and Consequences.

The book's cover was black and felt smooth to the touch, it didn't feel like ordinary sheepskin, and he didn't know what material it was made of.

Andy pulled out his wand.

"Lumos!"

Controlling the ball of light to float around him, Andy took back his wand. Calming his somewhat excited mood, he then flipped open the book.

Andy: "..."

Seeing the book's first chapter, Andy understood one thing: the development of magic was not smooth sailing, it was accompanied by countless killings and sins, as well as all kinds of unseen bloody experiments.

Some of Andy's ideas, these people had even personally tested.

Seniors have even done anti-human operations, such as fusing the blood of magical creatures with wizards.

Of course, the results of the experiments were also obvious.

The people who died on the spot could be considered lucky, and some of them had turned into half-human, half-animal monsters. There were also those with demented brains and deformed bodies...it was simply worse than death.

There were also some illustrations in this book, depicting all types of wizards who had undergone deformations.

There were those whose heads had become gigantic and those whose legs were fused together. Things like ulcers all over the body, swollen bodies, and dry skin were considered child's play.

"This is too horrible!" Andy recoiled a little.

This book summarized the consequences of many failed magical experiments, and compared to those monsters recorded in this book, Voldemort could even be deemed as eye candy.

Andy quickly skimmed through the entire book and then put it back.

There was a word mentioned several times in this book.

Magic Transfiguration!

Magic Transfiguration was not the same as Transfiguration alteration in form, Magic Transfiguration was actually a kind of magic transformation of the body.

It was just that in the process of magic transfiguration, a lot of knowledge related to human body transfiguration needed to be utilized, and that was why it was called magic transfiguration.

Magic Transfiguration was dangerous, but the benefits after success were also obvious.

Magic Transfiguration could increase a wizard's magic power, while also enhancing the body's adaptability to magic, making your spell casting smoother with the power of your magic becoming much stronger.

It is an all-round enhancement!

Andy guessed that Voldemort might have performed a magic transfiguration on himself, and that was why he turned into that ghostly form.

But Voldemort's power was also unquestionable.

If an ordinary wizard is an ordinary player in the game, then Voldemort got himself a mod.

The gap between the two sides is completely at the level of crushing.

As for Dumbledore...Andy had not found the secret of Dumbledore's power so far.

He probably secretly kryptonized (pay-to-win).

Andy frowned slightly.

There was no doubt that Voldemort's talent could be ranked at the top of the magical world in a hundred years, but Voldemort was still transformed into an inhuman form through magic transfiguration.

In terms of strength, Voldemort was considered a success.

But that appearance...

After all, being handsome is a lifelong thing!

Even Voldemort had become like that, Andy didn't think that he would be an exception - to use magic transfiguration to enhance his strength, and at the same time, preserve his handsome appearance.

It's hard to have both!

Andy continued to browse the books on the shelf.

The opportunity was rare, and Andy felt that instead of learning one or two additional spells, it would be better to look for books on magic transfiguration.

One to increase his insights, and the other to determine if this path was feasible.

No matter what, Voldemort was considered a pioneer on this path. Regardless of what someone's parents looked like, at least their strength was real.

Transforming Your Body to Make It More Adaptable to Your Magic.

Andy quickly found the second restricted book that introduced magic transfiguration.

Andy had read a book with this book's viewpoint before.

The author believed that although wizards could use magic, they were not magical creatures and were fundamentally different from those magical creatures.

Take the Demiguise (invisible beast) for example.

Demiguise are born with the ability to turn invisible, and their fur can be made into invisibility cloaks.

But what about a wizard?

Even if you cut a wizard into pieces, you won't be able to find a single part that can be used to make magic items.

The back of this book also mentions a viable procedure for magic transfiguration.

First, take a special kind of magic potion, then use human body transfiguration with some associated magic to transform one's body bit by bit.

Andy hurriedly took out a pen and paper to write all of this down.

This is the key point!

The author wrote at the end of the book that he initially succeeded when he carried out magic transfiguration. But when he was not satisfied with the status quo and wanted to continue trying, reality poured a basin of cold water over his head.

"Who? Is anyone there?"

It was Filch's voice.

Without panicking, Andy put the book back on the shelf and extinguished the Wand-Lighting Charm's ball of light before pulling out his wand and casting the Disillusionment Charm.

Filch is a Squib, Andy just needs to watch out for his cat, and that's enough to avoid the risk.

After leaving the library, Andy made no stops and made his way back to the Ravenclaw dormitory.

Lying on his bed, Andy began to remember the events of the night.

Dumbledore hadn't shown up; he probably wasn't at school.

After all, Malfoy had been attacked by dark magic in the school, and Dumbledore, as Headmaster, had to follow him over to check it out no matter what.

Perhaps Dumbledore also had to arrange some measures that could be used to guard against Quirrell sneaking into Hogwarts.

As for those two books...

There was no doubt that outside of mind-magic fusion, Andy had found a new way that could increase his strength.

'I've discovered the secret of Voldemort's power!'

Just from Voldemort's appearance, Andy could determine that Voldemort must have experienced multiple magic transfigurations and managed to survive.

The Obscurial, Voldemort!

They were the successful examples of these two methods of raising strength.

It was already late, but Andy was still in high spirits.

Andy was ready to find a chance to go back to the restricted section to look for a few more books related to magic transfiguration and summarize a set of practical ways to do it.

When the talent was added high enough, the magic theory was sufficient, and the level of spell casting reached a certain level...

Andy wanted to try a preliminary magic transfiguration.

It was true that Andy had the system to raise his magic power, but many things could not be solved by raising his magic power.

For example, the issue of the output of spell casting.

Was the amount of blue related to magic attacks?

At least in the world of Harry Potter, magic attacks were related only to skill level and had little to do with the blue amount.

The two books that introduced Magic Transfiguration both mentioned one thing, wizards were not magical creatures, and there was an upper limit to a wizard's magic output.

In Andy's understanding, this thing was just like an electrical appliance.

Even if you have a high-power generator, the transformer will teach you to be human.

And the human body obviously came with its own transformer.
