Damien's POV:

Backstory

"Hear! They dare threaten us. Guards seize them" one of the council members shouted.

I immediately prepared myself to go against the guards who were coming to seize us but the Lyra looked at me and gestured for me to leave it to her.

I nodded in affirmation after all my talking didn't work on them so I should give Lyra the chance to be the one to handle and strike fear into their hearts.

A guard came behind and wanted to seize Lyra but she was quicker than him and used a spell to freeze him in place.

I noticed that Lyra had been depending on magic lately when it came to fights. I needed to remind her that she was the chosen one and that she was much stronger than even the average Alpha. She should not be subtle in using her strength. But now was not the time to do that, we were in the middle of a fight.
