I’m Just Faster

The following day went on as normal, until however it was time for hero study and fundamentals. Normally their teacher would already be here, but to their surprise they weren't.

"So who do you guys think is going to teach this class?" Asked Uraraka.

"Probably a well known hero, I heard it was going to be All Might" said Mina, a pink skinned girl with horns on her head. She was the most active member of the class, to say the least.

Everyone then began to talk about who they thought would teach. Meanwhile Izuku sat in his chair not saying a word, "Hey nerd, you alright?" Asked Bakugo.

Izuku looked up to see his friend, "Hmmm? Oh yeah I'm fine, just thinking that's all."

"You've been out of it since this morning, what gives? You're normally so focused." Said Bakugo as he pressed the matter.

Izuku sighed, "I'm fine Kachan really."

Bakugo didn't believe him, but as he was about to say something a loud booming voice was heard coming from the door. "I am...Coming through the door like a normal person!" From the entrance All Might himself appeared wearing his hero costume.

The class, except Izuku, all smiled and cheered for the hero's arrival. "Alright alright, settle down please. Now as you can see I am All Might, and starting today I will be your teacher for hero action and mobility. But first, you all must look the part!"

Pressing a button on a remote the wall behind the number one hero opened up and out popped suitcases with numbers on them. "Each case has your hero costumes designed by the support department, per your instructions of course. Now grab your case and meet me in ground beta!"

Izuku grabbed his case and looked at it, "So, did your girlfriend make it for you?" Asked Bakugo appearing behind Izuku.

Izuku turned to his friend, "One she's not my girlfriend, and two yes, Hatsume helped me design it. And before you ask, no, I did not let her turn me into a terminator. "

Bakugo clicked his tongue, "Damn it, I liked her original design. Well come on, let's see who looks more badass."

With that the boys went off to change after a few minutes they all began to walk out. Bakugo's costume was cool, he had two large gauntlets that were shaped as grenades, a tight, sleeveless tank top and baggy military style pants.

Izuku was the last of the boys to show up, walking into the sunlight his costume consisted of a skin tight, green bodysuit with a mask that covered his forehead and eyes, leaving his mouth exposed. Around his waist was a horizontal gold lightning bolt that wrapped around him. Around his forearms there were the same gold lightning bolts. On his mask he had on two small Hermes wings one on either side of his ears. But the most prominent thing on his suit was a golden ring on his chest, with white filling and a green bolt of lightning going through it. And to top it all off he went with red combat style boots. 'Think of the classic Flash costume, just green and with green boots. I do plan to upgrade his suit later though.'

And of course, thanks to Hatsume, everything on his suit was fireproof so he wouldn't burn up at his speeds. "Woah, this is a lot less stuff I thought you were going to have." Said Bakugo.

Izuku laughed, "Yeah, Hatsume wanted to add some armor but I said no, it would be too much weight. Besides this chest piece is the one thing she insisted on adding."

"It looks like a normal accessory, what does it do?" Asked Bakugo.

"It monitors my vital signs and metabolism. It scans me and sends all the information to Hatsume." Explained Izuku.

Bakugo raised an eyebrow, "Why Hatsume?"

"Ever since she saw me die multiple times from when I got hit by lightning. Hatsume has been a little more, cautious around me. Everytime I speed up she gets scared and starts to think I'm going to have a heart attack or something." Said Izuku as he touched the chest piece.

Bakugo hummed, "So basically Hatsume is the jealous type and this device is an anti-cheating monitor. Looks like Hatsume wants to make sure you are loyal."

Izuku blushed, "I-It's not that at all!" Bakugo laughed at Izuku's expense, "I hate it when you mess with me…"

His little reaction caused his heart rate to spike up, which led to Hatsume getting an alert on her phone. Pulling out her phone in the middle of class Hatsume checked on Izuku but found that everything was normal again. "Well at least I know it's working now."

However as she checked something else the small invention she was working on suddenly began to smoke. Powerloader, the instructor for the support department saw the smoke, "Hatsume! The device!" He yelled out.

Finally looking up Hatsume found the device beginning to spark. "Awww hell…." With a loud bang the entire room filled up with smoke. Luckily Hatsume was able to duck under the desk just in time. "Phew, that was close."

"Hatsume you could have blown up the lab! Pay attention to what you're doing!" Said Powerloader as he fanned away the smoke.

Hatsume ignored him, "Maybe I can implement a web cam feature into Midoriya's suit. So many good ideas!"

Back with Izuku he was still trying to explain why Hatsume wasn't his girlfriend when a voice was heard behind him. "Woah is that you Midoriya? I like your costume."

Turning around Izuku found Uraraka standing there, "Oh hey Uraraka…" he then got a good look at her costume. "A spacesuit?"

Uraraka laughed nervously, "Yeah kinda, but I think there was a mistake though, I didn't mean for it to be skin tight. I probably look weird."

Her costume consisted of a black and pink bodysuit, with a pink design going down her torso, she also had two circular wrist mounted guards and a helmet with a visor. "No, not at all. I think you look great." Said Izuku.

Uraraka blushed slightly, "Y-You really think so? Thanks."

"Hey nerd, if you don't stop flirting I'm telling Hatsume." Said Bakugo with a smug look on his face.

Izuku turned and narrowed his eyes, "Go ahead, I'm not doing anything bad."

"My god you are dense. Whatever, don't say I didn't warn you." Said Bakugo as he went off to pester his other classmates.

"Oh right Midoriya, I've been meaning to talk to you about something." Said Uraraka.

"Oh yeah sure, what's up?" Asked Izuku.

"Well it's more like a question actually. So a while ago someone saved me from some thugs who tried to mug me. And the person who saved me had green lightning jumping off of them and ran really fast…" Izuku's eyes widened. "My question is, was that…"

However before Uraraka could finish that sentence All Might appeared, "All right everyone settle down, it's about time we get this class started. But before we do I must say you all look like full fledged heroes already! Now onto the exercise for today."

Izuku breathed a sigh of relief, "Hey we'll talk later okay?" Ochaco nodded.

"Now, this exercise will be a step up from the entrance exam. Today you will split up into two teams of two, one team will be heroes, the other villains. The stage will be inside a building, there you will find a replica bomb. This bomb will be protected by the villains. And the heros must find and disarm the bomb by touching it in order to win. The villains must capture/defeat the heroes or let the time run out. Teams will be drawn at random in this box. Does everyone understand?" Asked All Might, the class all nodded.

"Good, let's get started shall we. First we pick the villains." Reaching into the box All Might pulled out two names. "Bakugo and Krishima will be the villains. Now for the heros…" reaching once again into the box the number one hero pulled out two names. "Midoriya and Uraraka, you will be the heroes."

Izuku smiled, "Well Kachan, time to find out which one of us is better."

Bakugo smirked, "Bring it on nerd! I'll show you why the kids in middle school never messed with me."

Both teams were given 10 minutes to get ready, the villains went inside to set up the bomb. Bakugo adjusted his gauntlets as Kirishima, a red haired boy hyped himself up. "So do you think we can win?" Asked Kirishima.

Bakugo looked up, "Probably, the nerd may be fast but I've spent enough time with him to know what he's up to. The girl is different, she can use her quirk in a variety of ways. That makes her a difficult opponent."

Outside the building Izuku and Uraraka looked over the building's blueprints. "So Midoriya, got a plan?" Asked Uraraka.

Izuku had his mask off and was talking fast, so fast in fact that Uraraka couldn't tell what he was saying. "Midoriya? Hello?"

Izuku suddenly snapped back to reality, "Huh what? Sorry I was thinking of ways to win."

Uraraka smiled, "I-It's fine, so what's the plan? You run in there in a second and touch the bomb?"

"Normally I would do that, but since I don't know what the other guys' quirk is I won't do that. I was thinking of scouting out first and checking every floor for the bomb. Once I find it we'll work our way up and take them by surprise." Explained Izuku.

"Sounds like a plan, let's do this." Said Uraraka as she put on her helmet.

"Right!" With that Izuku once again pulled his mask over his face and readied himself. "All though, knowing Kachan, he'll probably come after me first…."
