The air in Kang Wonsik's office grew thick and thick as the seconds ticked by. Kwang Min-soo stood somewhat frozen, her hands nervously rubbing against each other, while Kim Seijin remained seated at the edge of the desk, his eyes never leaving her… as if intentionally to feel her with whatever he had on his mind. The soft hum of the air conditioning filled the silence, but it did little to ease the palpable strain between them.
"I don't have any idea what you're talking about, sir. I… I don't have a system. Never have I heard of such," Min-soo said, her voice steady but not without a tremor of fear. Her eyes darted around, careful to avoid Seijin's penetrating gaze. She shifted her weight abruptly, feeling her heart aching on its own accord.
