Seung's body trembled as the pain surged through him. He could feel his ribs grinding against each other from the force of his fall, every breath he took sharp and agonizing. Blood seeped from the gashes on his chest, and his hands trembled as he tried to push himself up. But the system, relentless in its course, continued synchronizing the vampire gene without a care for the world.

"No... Stop it..." Seung gasped, forcing the words through gritted teeth as he collapsed back onto his knees. His entire body felt like it was on fire, the searing agony coursing through him unlike anything he had ever felt before. He pounded the ground with his fists, trying to stay conscious, even as his vision blurred.
