(ch2) start of camp

Arriving at professor Oaks lab ace could see professor Oak himself talking with two of his assistants. As the group arrived professor Oak smiled at them. "Well it looks like you're all ready to go." He said seeing all there bags they had for the camp.

Ash in his excitement exclaimed, "yes professor, will we get to see pokemon at the camp?"

The professor laughed, "yes my boy. But that isn't the purpose of the training camp. This training camp will teach you about how we coexist with pokemon, and how you should conduct yourself in the wild when you go on your own journey." He told ash who just nodded his head, only really hearing that he will get to see some pokemon other than at the lab. The professor sighed shaking his head at ashes antics.

Professor Oak looked at his watch, "oh my, we need to get going." He then gestured for ash and ace to come closer as he took out a pokeball. Daisy wasn't going because she didn't like camping and would be keeping Jane and Delia company.

After saying goodbye to the parents ash and ace were standing next to the professor and After making sure all the kids belongings were accounted for, professor Oak nodded his head and released what was in the pokeball. After the white light was gone what was revealed was an alikazam who eyed everyone present. The professor then gave the alikazam an order to take them and his assistance to the location of the camp, which caused its eyes to glow. then in the next second, there surroundings changed to a forest ground with cabins and what look like a makeshift poke center with a nurse joy already on standby.

Ace looked around and noticed all the other scientists and rangers that seemed to be escorting other children that teleported in. Before there group could get going, they could here off to the side, "ah, alola cousin. You finally decided to show up to your own event. Was starting to think you weren't coming." Looking over ace could see a man that looked identical to professor Oak except he was very tan, wore a Hawaiian shirt with cargo shorts, and his grey hair was in the style of a mullet. Behind him were two girls that ace recognized from the anime. One with tan skin and green hair(mallow), the other with blue hair (lana).

Professor oak looked over and smiled at the man, "ah Samson, it's been awhile." Both men then gave each other a hug. After the hug, professor oak introduced ash and ace, "let me introduce both ash and ace whom I plan on sponsoring when the time for there journey comes." He said as he put a hand on both ash and aces shoulder who gave a slight bow in greeting.

Samson oak laughed, "they seem like fine boys." He then gestured to the two behind him who both walked forward and gave a bow in greeting as Samson introduced them. These two are mallow and lana. Two of the children I plan to enroll in the school I plan to build."

Professor oak had a thoughtful expression, "that's right. The alola region doesn't have a trainers school. You finally got approval for one." He said then asked.

Samson had a wide grin, "that's right. It took a lot of convincing we needed one, with them saying our island is too small to have a need. But I finally wore them down."

Professor oak nodded to Samson. "Well congratulations, I'm glad to see your efforts pay off. We can talk more about this later, I think we should go get our campers settled." Samson nodded to oak and everyone said their goodbyes. Professor oak then took ace and ash to get settled in.

Ace and ash shared a cabin with another boy ace recognized from the anime, Goh from pokemon journeys. Ash and Goh seemed to hit it off right off the bat, both with their excited personalities. Ace also got along well with Goh talking about what pokemon they liked. Goh was amazed by aces knowledge on pokemon.

After everyone was settled in, all the campers were gathered in the open area where there was a raised platform for people to stand on to address the crowd. Here ace could get a better look at all the other kids and he was able to recognize some due to their hair. He could make out dawn from diamond and Perl, mallow and lana from before who they already met, he even saw a girl with black hair and a green bang that if he remembers right is Nemona from the new pokemon games. He was surprised to see a few girls from the joy clan and Jenny clan also attending the camp but it makes sense that some of the joys and Jenny's want to go on journeys as well.

Ace was brought out of his musings when a few professors took the stage. There was professor oak, his cousin Samson Oak from alola region, professor Rowan from the sinnoh region, professor Sada from paldea region, and professor magnolia from Galar region. As soon as they took the stage professor Oak spoke aloud, "alright everybody I hear-by start the training camp. Over the next month myself and my colleagues will be teaching you about pokemon in our respective fields." He gestured to the other professors and they nodded their heads. Oak continued, "we have also employed some of the rangers who will teach you about camping in the wilds and what to do in certain situations. He gestured then to the rangers who were off to the side who waved back at the kids. "Now we're going to separate and assign you all into different groups so everyone gather." He said and everyone was put into groups.

There were 30 campers and only five were boys the other two sharing a cabin. So they were put into five different groups one boy and five girls in a group. Ace wondered if this was a way to encourage the polygamy notion but he was probably just reading too much into it. In aces group was a young joy and Jenny each which seemed to be the case for all the groups. There was also dawn who was acting shy, then there was Hilda who ace recognized from the black and white games. Last was a girl named chloe who appeared to be a childhood friend of Goh.

Ace looked at ashes group and in his group was also a young joy and Jenny. He could also see Nemona who was talking animatedly with ash who was talking back with just as much energy. Mellow and lana were also in his group and they were just looking back and forth between ash and nemona.

Once all the groups were set the professors laid out the schedule for the month. Each week a professor would teach certain groups and at the start of the next week the groups would switch between professors. In the afternoons the rangers will teach survival training and the weekends will be free time. With everything Said everyone was let go to rest for the following day. Ace, ash and Goh all went back to their cabin and talked a bit before falling asleep.

The following weeks were filled with learning. Professor oak lectures were all about human and pokemon relation. Professor sada talked about ancient pokemon. Professor Magnolia talked about how in her region there are areas were it's possible to do something called dinamaxing which ace remembered from the games. Professor Rowan taught about the evolution of Pokemon and the different way one can evolve pokemon. He gave eevee as an example with how he can evolve with stones, he then showed the three eeveelutions that happen with stones. He then said that it can evolve under different circumstances such as having a deep bond with their trainer, he then showed off umbrion and espion. Ace took note that sylvion hasn't been discovered yet.

The rangers taught them how to start up a campsite by hand, but after they showed them how camping can be easier with the help of pokemon as they used their pokemon to make a better campsite. All the kids were amazed even ace seeing live pokemon in action. Rangers then taught them how to look for signs of wild pokemon and to try and have as little impact on the environment as much as you can. They said its because if they don't pokemon may retaliate so its due to this silent agreement that pokemon usually stay to their own territories.

One weekend when Ace, Ash, and Goh were in their cabin after the day, Goh in excitement said, "hey ash, ace guess what I saw today while exploring?" To the questioning face of both Ace and Ash Goh answered, "I saw the legendary pokemon mew!"

Ash in excitement jumped up, "really!?" Goh nodded in confirmation, "aww I wish I could have seen." To which Goh smiled smugly.

Goh then declared, "in the future I'm going to catch mew and thats going to be my first pokemon." To which ace could only roll his eyes at his proclamation. After talking a bit more about mew they turned in for the night.

Now I was going to do more but I need to know if people want serina to be in the harem. Cause that will effect the next part. So I'll give it a day and I would at least need three people wanting her in the harem or she will most liklely go to ash. By the way Nemona is already confirmed to be with ash. Mc wouldn't be able to handle someone constantly asking for a battle 😂.
