18. Confrontation

Without wasting any time Harry quickly retrieved the mask he had purchased from the system and wore it.

He could only use four Ninja Rank techniques while fighting with Abomination and wasn't going to use one of his precious slots on the transformation technique.

Wearing the mask, Harry cancelled the Transformation technique. It would be wrong to say that he wasn't nervous or afraid.

This fight against the Abomination embodied quite a risk and Harry could also die if things went wrong.

'Get a hold of yourself,' Harry tried to calm down his chaotic mind and decided to approach the Abomination who was now fighting with the millitary. If he wasted time and Hulk appears before he could engage with the Abomination then everything would go to waste.

After donning his mask Harry quickly approached the Abomination who was busy fighting the millitary tanks, that were trying to hinder Abomination's movements. However the Abomination was utterly destroying those tanks and killing the soldiers before they could even do anything to it.

Just as Harry was about a few metres away from Abomination, and was going to carry out a surprise attack, Abomination turned to face Harry.

It seemed to be surprised that a weak human had approached him by choice instead of running as far as possible.

As Harry stood face to face with the terrifying Abomination, he could feel his heart pounding in his chest. The massive creature snarled and charged at him with incredible speed, its monstrous strength evident in every thunderous step. With a deep breath, Harry activated the Body Flicker Technique, dodging out of the way just in time. As he reappeared a few meters away, he cursed his limited options. He knew he had to be strategic and precise with the few techniques he could use.

The ground trembled as Abomination launched himself at Harry again, fists swinging with unstoppable force. Harry focused his chakra and summoned the Earth Shield Technique, creating a sturdy barrier just in time to block the incoming attack.

But just as he had put up the earth wall, he knew that he wouldn't be able to block the Abomination's attack, he quickly used the Body Flicker Technique and disappeared from area of attack.

'Shit,' Harry thought. In the heat of the movement he had used the Earth Wall technique which was useless against the Abomination's attack. He had wasted a precious spot for this currently useless technique.

'Should have saved it for the Wind Release technique,' Harry understood his mistake, but shaking all the unnecessary thoughts he decided to focus on the fight.

Gritting his teeth, Harry steadied himself and launched a counterattack. With a quick series of hand seals, he unleashed the C Rank Great Fireball Technique, sending a scorching blast of flames towards Abomination. The creature roared in fury as the flames engulfed him, but before Harry could even take a breath, Abomination plowed through the blaze, though his body was covered with some scorching and burnt marks which were healing at a rapid rate.

Abomination roared in pain, but the intensity of anger in its eyes increased as it stared at Harry.

Harry cursed under his breath. He knew he couldn't rely on the same technique repeatedly, as the Great Fireball Technique would eat away his chakra quickly.

As Abomination closed the distance once more, Harry's instincts kicked in, and he unleashed another Great Fireball Technique, the searing flames erupting from his palms. The creature bellowed in rage, momentarily staggered by the intense heat.

Taking advantage of the momentary distraction, Harry summoned the Fire Release: Fire Breath Technique, unleashing a torrent of flames that engulfed Abomination for a precious few seconds.

Harry quickly withdrew five explosive kunais from the system space and while circling the Abomination, he threw one of the explosive kunai at its head and other three at its balls.

The Abomination seemed to have noticed the grave danger it was in and quickly shielded it's neither region with its huge arm. However he was unable to protect its head from the explosive kunai.

After Harry threw the four explosive kunais towards Abomination, he quickly activated them causing a small explosion surrounding the Abomination.

The explosive kunai detonated with a deafening roar, sending small shards of flesh flying in all directions. Abomination let out a terrifying howl of pain as the explosions rocked its massive body.

Harry knew that it was just a matter of time before this guy would heal itself.

Seizing the opportunity, Harry continued to circle the beast, keeping his distance as he plotted his next move. He reached into his system storage and retrieved a lightning-infused scroll which he just purchased for fifty points, unraveling it to reveal the crackling energy contained within. With a swift motion, he activated the scroll, releasing a surge of electrifying power that arced towards the Abomination.

The creature convulsed as the lightning surged through its body, its muscles spasming uncontrollably as the electrical currents wreaked havoc on its body. Harry knew that this was his chance to strike while the Abomination was weakened.

He once again fired the D Rank Fire Breath Technique at Abomination's weaker points, hoping to cause at least some damage to the big guy.

The smoke from the explosion and fire release technique had created a thick cloud, obscuring Harry's vision and making it difficult for him to see the Abomination. As the smoke began to clear, Harry saw the monstrous creature picking up the pieces of the car that lay scattered around it. With immense strength, the Abomination ripped off the car door and hurled it at Harry with incredible speed. Reacting quickly, Harry used his Body Flicker Technique to vanish from the spot just as the car door came hurtling towards him.

However, the Abomination was relentless. It continued to grab whatever it could get its hands on and threw it at Harry with astonishing precision. Harry reappeared in different spots using his Body Flicker Technique, but the Abomination's aim was uncannily accurate.

As he reappeared in a different spot using his Body Flicker Technique, he barely had time to catch his breath before another projectile came hurtling towards him. With the Abomination's astonishing precision, it seemed as though it could predict his movements. Harry once again moved to a different location.

Just as Harry thought he was safe in his new location, a sudden whooshing sound filled the air, and before he could react, a tire came flying at him with incredible speed. The heavy rubber tire struck him squarely on his lower ribs and stomach, the impact sending him hurtling backwards. Pain shot through his body as he collided with a nearby car, the force of the impact denting the metal and shattering the glass.

Gasping for air, Harry struggled, the searing pain in his side making every movement agonizing. He could feel the warmth of blood seeping through his clothing, a sharp reminder of the damage the tire had inflicted.

As he tried to move, he felt the sharp jolt of pain in his ribcage, and he knew immediately that due to the tire impact, few of his ribs were also broken.
