The cupid order did not distinguish friends from enemies; it had three parameters to mark a name: be related to the places where unidentified bodies had been found, have some type of connection with any of the officers who had been verified to be part of the infiltration of machines, or have separated, divorced or even been widowed in the last two years.
Seth did not resist; despite being married since he was a young aspiring officer and having two children, his wife preferred to divorce him when he did not want to give up his military career and went to war. He fell within the range of suspicion, so when the Amophis docked at the main base of the pirate fleet, Jahve himself proceeded to arrest him and the rest of the designated officers.
Most, like Seth, were innocent, but no discrimination could be made until there was a way to differentiate machines from humans. Jahve had followed orders, although he was still upset with the situation.
