Chapter 677: Underfoot

Anton climbed up the tree.

Yang Yi didn't know what level of a sniper he would be considered, and he had no idea what level Anton would fall into either. However, he felt that he could live without the self-esteem of being a top-notch expert, but Anton must have some, right?

But this time, Anton chose to stay right beneath Yang Yi's feet.

The linden tree had many forks, and the one Yang Yi had chosen was also quite large. Even the branches that were not part of the main trunk were sufficiently high. However, if a branch was high enough, it might lack strength; and if it had strength, it was often not high enough.

A branch as thick as a thigh was definitely more stable than one as thick as an arm, and so, after much consideration, Anton ended up on a set of branches right below Yang Yi, about two meters lower, but very stable with a branch to rest his gun on.
