They might have only been together for less than two months, but Maximillian knew that he wanted to build a future with Julian and no one else.

Ever since Maximillian entered the Bureau, he had been living on his own. The first apartment he inhabited was small, but it held a sense of coziness.

However, as he climbed the ranks, his living quarters grew palatial. Now, he found himself in a house far too vast for a single occupant.

His neighbors at both sides were families with at least two children. They even kept a pet or two. Sometimes, their rambunctious pets sneaked over to his garden to nip at his roses, prompting Eugene to launch into a tirade of anger.

"AHHHHH STOP EATING MY ROSES YOU BAD BAD ANIMAL!"

Outside, Eugene was busy chasing a bunch of rabbits off the garden. And then, he spent good fifteen minutes mourning the fallen roses.
