Chapter 8 Make Me a Piece of Clothing

Jannie and Rosaria swam up on their own, while Lizette was rescued by Lion.

After being rescued ashore, Lizette's eyes remained tightly closed.

Ah, what a pity! She hasn't had enough fun yet, and Lion's arrival couldn't have come at a worse time!

After Lion called out twice, Lizette reluctantly opened her eyes.

"Still alive."

Lion wiped his damp hair and stood up.

He said to Zeber, "Take Miss Young back to her room and call the doctor to have a look."

"Yes, Mr. Lion," Zeber immediately complied.

"Jannie," Lion said coldly, "explain yourself."

Jannie suddenly snapped to attention, standing up straight as if by reflex.

She initially wanted to say that the three of them were playing together and accidentally fell into the water. However, as Lion's sharp, icy gaze seemed to see right through her, she didn't dare to lie.
