Davien opened his eyes, and his gaze immediately darkened. He quickly moved into a sitting position. "What are you doing here?" he spat, venom in his voice.
"I apologize for the intrusion," Misha said with a smile. She was sitting across the room, her eyes locked on him.
Davien looked around. The lights hadn't been turned on yet, but that was the least of his concerns. How had she gotten into his room so easily? He hadn't heard anything, but the unsettling feeling of being watched had woken him up.
"What are you doing here?" he asked again, his tone darkening as he prepared to get out of bed.
Misha smiled. "Alexander told you I had a plan, didn't he? It's no surprise, even though he agreed to go along with it. I should have known he wouldn't keep anything from his dear brother." She stood and began walking toward him.
"And does your plan involve breaking into my room?"
