The Long Wait... Is Over?

The nation of Latinium continued to progress under Julius's leadership and the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months.

His regular duties had become fairly regular by now, and along with that his efficiency when doing his paperwork had likewise increased.

This period of time also pass the first milestone of his new life.

Julius had been present in this world for over a year now as Julius advanced in Age from 16 to 17 his free time was spent reviewing his system and occasionally enhancing his nation with newly acquired technological upgrades and the unlocked buildings that come along with that.

The most significant progress made would be the endorsement and advocating of the Pagan dieties with the prevailing theory being that Julius himself was an avatar of the Sun God, many referring to him as Sol Invictus thanks to his ability to glow with a white light the few times he'd unleashed his points to prefer first aid on his retainers, or for show.

The healing was only performed a single time as there was an accident that occurred during training before Zeff and Elheat when Zeff unconsciously activated his Mana Art which caught Elheat off guard delivering the old man a deep wound.

Julius managed to heal him preventing a great loss, Elheat's loyalty rose higher, while his training plan for Zeff became even heavier.

Miri was taking her duties as an administrator seriously and had been transferred from her position as the nations ambassador to instead now be the department head for the Department of Finance.

Serena took up the vacated position from Miri and was the new Ambassador for Latinium.

As their kingdom had grown larger, Julius had begun to slowly incept a new national name in his peoples minds, by referring to his province as Latinium housing the Eternal city while the nation as a whole was Romanus which was chosen similar to Rosa Alba as it was the original latin name for Rome, but to the people of this world Latin was only a language used by the Imperial family, and the Praetorians so the meaning was lost on everyone else.

Thinking instead that Julius had adopted this name based of his chosen style of buildings, and government to loosely followed that of the documented Imperial Rome, therefore Romanus was his believed successor state to the old empire.

The advancements in technology had further enhanced his people's lives as farming again became ever easier, meaning that more of the workforce had been freed up to fill the gap in Julius's industry, which likewise was further enhanced thanks to the Aqueducts within the cities a series of waterwheels were enhancing the forging, milling, and even creation of a pump based system aiding in fire fighting tactics.

The lumber industry had been enhanced with the wood being predominantly being used for the purpose of creating new ships to further increase Julius's navy and creation of new merchant Cog ships.

Julius was not simply just running around having fun all the time during these passing months as each time he found even a slightly significant break where nothing was needed to be done by him, Serena, Yuri or sometimes both would intrude and practically force him on another date.

Through the course of these "dates" their Loyalty values had been inching closer and closer towards becoming locked in, but sadly the only two whose loyalty had been locked in thus far was Zeff and Miri.

The pair whom had formally joined in an eternal union, which was simply an action that could be achieved thanks to Julius and he himself was shocked when somehow overnight the pair went from a 95 straight to 100 without his doing anything.

The biggest change that came was the advancement of Julius's own skills.

Thanks to the battle of Lunan and the ongoing endorsed piracy of Ramie until their total collapse had netted Julius a decent number of points thanks to leveling up even further.

The world at large had seen more than a dozen wars begin and a handful of nations had also dropped away from the world stage having been conquered by their once peaceful neighbors.

There was even one nation who after being victorious after conquering three of their neighbors falling to a rebellion internally basically bringing the countries back to the original states pre-war.

Visigoth had not been silent these last few months either having seen The Great Wall their experts were shocked to not have know about it's existence not that they could have as it had literally appeared out of thin air.

The outflow of people was at first tolerated but eventually they stopped the peoples of North Lunan from escaping to their south, however the Visigoth tacticians attempted to use this outflow as a method of implanting spies within the newly founded Grand Duchy however once these agents crossed over through the aptly named salvation gates no further reports were heard from these men and women.

Julius of course was alerted to their arrival in his nation and by using the [World Map] he could give localized commands to the forces manning the various salvation gates to round up those who entered his nation with Hostile intent and imprisoning them in the recently created Prison that thanks to the system would slowly rehabilitate them until their hostile intent was voided and they became true citizens of Romanus caring little if at all about Visigoth.

Seeing the internal security of Romanus as tight as an iron curtain the military might of this new nation was also a total unknown and since they had suffered numerous defeats at Julius's hands they would need to further consolidate their own power while coming up with not only a way to breech The Great Wall but then also combat Julius's tactical advantage that their own commanders had up till now failed to beat.
