Chapter 8, A Chat With The King

I left the Potter residence with a smile on my face.

I had not forced Harry into joining me, or anything of the like, nor did I really even give him too much information. Truly, even I didn't know what I wanted this organization to be.

Just seeing Harry, feeling his sensible and pragmatic character... I thought it would be fitting to have him leading a part of my company.

I left him with fruit for thought, giving him my phone number.

I was confident he would contact me at some point.

As for what he would do within my small project?

Maybe control a branch that goes out and calms down possible recruits, or persuades unreasonable entities, converting them to our cause.

I was not completely sure of what I wanted to make out of this group, but something along the lines of recruiting entities all across the multiverse to do my bidding was a start.

Well, not necessarily do my bidding.

It was more to acquire their abilities, and to eliminate any possible threats.

I don't think it would be enjoyable having Rimuru Tempest on my badside. Of course I would grow strong enough to deal with those like him, but as of now?

I was not completely confident...

Honestly... At peak power? I knew I stood no chance against Rimuru.

Though of course it pained me to say...

Currently, I was hopping through the sea. With the pure physical strength I had, along side my electromagnetic field, I was easily able to leap through space with use of the Speed Force, effectively instantaneously teleporting across vast distances.

I had chosen this route instead of flying since I was searching for something within the sea.

With each touch of my foot on the surface of the water, I was sending pulses of thermal radiation. I had used my insane speed to vibrate my molecules, creating mass amounts of heats, them pushing them down into the ocean into large pulses.

I was using it as a calling mechanism, as I knew eventually someone would answer me.

It took over two hours, in which I covered half of the ocean's surface, finally coming to a stop somewhere near Antarctica.

I heard to sea rumble deep beneath me, a smile forming on my face.

My mouth closed and I shapeshifted slightly, giving myself gills on my neck.

I dove deep underwater, swimming through it with beautiful form, and mesmerizing speed.

The ocean floor stirred, a bright blue light making itself known deep below me.

I could only smile, quickly approaching my destination, who had been slowly swimming up to check me out.

How could my pulses of thermal radiation not attract the attention of a creature that liked to feed on such energy?

My eyes met the gigantic pupils beneath me.

A beautiful sight was made.

Man floating soundlessly, a smile on his face, with a deep and mesmerized glare within his eyes.

Sea monster, looking up in curiosity, annoyance, and intrigue. A profound gaze within it's eyes, showing proof of the creatures intelligence.

Making direct eye contact with the sea lizard of my dreams, I couldn't help but notice something that made me raise a brow.

Just by using my eyes on this creature, I could tell the latent power it had far exceeded any of my expectations.

I could see the mass amounts of energy within it's body, and the sheer density and mass the creature hand.

Strangely, the lizard itself also had an electromagnetic field that offset it's unbelievable weight, giving it the ability to still move freely despite surpassing weight that should not be physically possible given it's size.

"Gojira." I voiced, my words not traveling far within the water, but instantly reaching the creatures mind.

I watched as it's gaze sharpened further, it's nostrils flaring.

"You are no human." It communicated through the telepathic link I established.

"I did not claim to be." I replied, crossing my arms, a smile ever present on my face.

"Why have you searched for me. The world should have long forgotten about me. I am a folktale." The radioactive lizard said, making me slightly chuckle.

"Well. I am a huge fan of you." I smiled brighter. "And if you allowed it, I would like to work with you. Give you some fun in this boring life. Make you stronger even... Soon there will be the re-emergence of a monster that can contend you for your title as King." I spoke, waving my hand as I listed my reasonings.

I could see Godzilla perk up at my last words, a snarl appearing on his face at the same moment.

"It is Ghidorah." He growled. "I can feel his presence. He is tossing and turning in his slumber." He said, making me raise my brows in surprise.

Even I did not feel any sort of presence tossing and turning in their slumber!

"His influence is blanketing over the world heavier and heavier as he awakens... Soon enough, most of the world will be unknowingly under his control." Hearing this, my eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

Since when was Ghidorah capable of controlling the whole world with his mind? I mean it was not an unheard of feat... Even I and Martian Manhunter could do the same, but it was still surprising.

"That big dragon can do that?" I questioned, a serious look appearing on my face, making Godzilla ease up.

Seeing me take this serious was reassurance for him, it seemed to him that we may have a common enemy.

"Ghidorah is an primordial extraterrestrial that predates this universe. He does not come from this realm, and what appears within the confines of reality is only his proxy." Hearing all this, I almost face palmed.

This description sounded eerily similar to one outrageously overpowered variant of Ghidorah... Though of course there were some descrepencies, like Ghidorah's form only being a proxy... But the origin that Godzilla gave me made me shiver slightly.

"A variant of Void Ghidorah..." I muttered, shaking my head.

Looking at the Godzilla before me, I could tell he was extraordinarily strong, but I just did not see him contending with any form of Ghidorah that held even a semblance of Void Ghidorah's power!

From the one time I read up on Void Ghidorah, I could easily remember his characteristics.

He was quite literally, an extradimensional living energy that was capable of creating black-holes!

"Hey, have you ever fought Ghidorah?" I asked, tilting my head, a hand on my chin.

The lizard was silent for a moment, and I could feel his mind was in turmoil.

"Nearly two hundred million years ago. He had just entered this universe, and was barely able to conjure even a fraction of his real power. We fought to a stalemate in which I buried him deep within the northern ice cap. I was forced to sleep for many years after that, slowly regaining my power." Godzilla explained, leaving me slightly disturbed.

"I can assure that I would only be able to combat Ghidorah immediately after he awakens, and not when he has the time to pull any more power from his main body." Godzilla's tail wagged in frustration, making me adopt a slight smirk.

"But as I said earlier, I could make you more powerful. I just would like you to join me. I can give you anything you wish for! In return, I would like you to become a colleague of mine." I said, reaching out a hand with a smile.

I watched as the draconic reptile squinted, tilting his head.

"And what does being your colleague entail?" He asked.

"Hmm... Free food? And a challenge from time to time... I would likely request your power to be used as a military force... Taking over worlds for fun? Perhaps I would have you rule said worlds... I have not determined these things as of yet." I kept my hand extended, a thoughtful but ensuring expression on my face as I spoke.

"I can make you a true King of Monsters... No scratch that. A King of Worlds is more fitting for someone of your grandeur." I smiled, my hand beckoning the creature before me.

There was silence for a few moments, tension brewing.

Of course, I knew the outcome the moment I outstretched my hand. From the thoughts running around in the lizard's gigantic brain, I knew what he would say before he knew himself.

"As you have said, I am a King, so treat me with respect." With those words, the infamous Godzilla extended his thick but proportionately small arm, the tip of his claw touching my hand.

In the same moment, I worked my magic, assimilating the entities DNA.

My Martian shape shifting immediately worked to combat my new bloodline, preventing me from growing to 400 meters as the creature in front of me was.

I just felt such a size was too...

Too much work.
