Asking Yvett to Join Her Business

At 7pm, Yvett arrived at the beach house. Her clothes seemed disheveled and her expression didn't look so good that Irene could feel something was wrong with her.

"Are you okay?" Irene let her in.

Yvett was taken aback when she realized she had let Irene see her bad condition. She quickly tidied up her clothes and smiled. "I'm fine. I was just afraid I couldn't make it so I hurriedly came here."

Irene narrowed her eyes, suspecting that Yvett was trying to hide something. The last time she was in trouble, their friendship ended up being broken for years.

Therefore, Irene did not want to make the same mistake now. If Yvett ran into trouble, then she would try her best to help her without offending her.

"You can vent your anger to me if you want," Irene said. "Just make sure not to run again this time."
