Bai Lian never concealed her own goals.
She watched as the principal left.
Upon hearing that, she spoke in a tone as light as a breeze, "Jiangjing University."
"Jiangjing University, huh." Assistant Xu nodded as he held his phone, texting Xu Wenyao a reply, and it wasn't until halfway through that he realized, "Jiangjing University?"
He looked up, bewildered.
"What?" Bai Lian glanced back at Assistant Xu, raising her eyebrows.
The black of her pupils reflected the sun, languidly, almost like a different person from last night at the bar.
Assistant Xu was somewhat silent, "…Nothing."
"Mhm, just remember not to leak that he's still in Xiangcheng, that will do," Bai Lian said as she looked off in a direction, bidding farewell to Assistant Xu, "I've got something urgent, will go to the hospital later."
She had originally asked Assistant Xu to wait for her to go to the hospital together, but Hall Master Jin had suddenly sought her out.
"Alright." Assistant Xu followed her gaze.
