When Sebastian told Lei, she seemed holy unsurprised and simply said, "8 is the way." while holding up a finger. Sebastian had no idea what 'way' the number 8 could make, but since it had worked, he let her off the hook. Also, the fact that Lei existed was the only excuse he had to avoid Jylan since he wasn't sure he could look the former butler in the eye right now.

"So, you're avoiding him?" Lei asked, and Sebastian flinched. Then he nodded, and Lei snickered. "Then just do that. Jylan will seek you out eventually anyway, and if he doesn't, you always have me." Sebastian rubbed his forehead. "Lei, perhaps the fact that I have you is the problem." Lei frowned for a minute, brightly bursting into a smile, and then said, "It doesn't matter, Sebas, you cannot escape me!" Then she made a face, and Sebastian smiled. Then he went back to doing paperwork.

The next day, Sebastian was almost asleep when he heard rustling. Now he had a true phobia of people sneaking up on him in his sleep, so before there were any knives, Leisasters, or midnight kisses, he dragged himself out of bed and peered out the door before anything else could happen. As he had expected, Jylan was standing outside, peering through the window.

"My Butler, dear, I love you, but it's 3 in the morning." Sebastian yawned, and Jylan turned. "Oh, yes, My Prince, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the festival with me?" Sebastian blinked, then looked down at his light blue pajamas. "Like this?" He said, looking up and raising both eyebrows. Jylan winked and held up a thumb.

"Of course, you look good in anything."

Sebastian raised his eyebrows higher.
