The County Governor's Office's prison was a very gloomy place, built underground behind the County Governor's Office, guarded by heavy troops all year round.
Ruxin had seen prisons on television before, both ancient and modern ones.
But today was the first time she had personally entered such a place, a semi-underground prison that made one shiver from head to toe as soon as the door was opened.
Although it was sufficiently grim and horrifying, it wasn't like what was portrayed on TV, where prisoners would stretch their hands out from the bars and shout "Let me out" or something similar whenever someone entered. There weren't many prisoners because those who really caused trouble and couldn't get out were sent to various labor camps to reform. Who would actually let these people stay inside every day just to get free meals? The people staying here were either minor offenders or those about to be executed.
