Jules' pov
"I'm sorry." I choked out through my tears, heart feeling like it was about to burst out of my chest from the amount of fright that was currently gripping every inch of my body.
Xander who still hovered above me, threw his head back and dissolved into laughter, a dark, menacing one that made the fright in my insides increase even more.
"I do not need your apology, Jules. What I need are answers, so start speaking." He snarled, teeth bared and fangs gleaming, which made me flinch before coughing once again because he still had a grip around my throat.
If I had known this plan was gonna completely backfire on me, I certainly wouldn't have attempt doing it, because now that I've been caught, it doesn't seem like Xander was gonna be letting me out of here without getting some answers out of me, which I most definitely couldn't reveal to him because it would jeopardize my entire cover and blow it up right in my face.
