Lin Qianfan cooks a new scheme.

On that same day, in the night, an unlikely pair met by coincidence and ended up making a decision to have a drink together at a hotel. 

The two men who were unlikely to be seen together on any normal day were Lin Qianfan and Zhang Xian.

Lin Qianfan was leaving the hotel after a rendezvous with his latest mistress, while Zhang Xian had just returned from a meeting with grandpa Zhang and some people from the second family. 

By the time the two bumped into each other all the Zhang's had left except for Zhang Xian who had taken a detour to the bathroom. 

As soon as Lin Qianfan saw Zhang Xian, he had called him out boisterously and even put an arm around his shoulders, feigning a closeness which was non existent. 

The two men were now sitting at a table in the single restaurant in the hotel. Lin Qianfan had a half empty glass of beer in front of him while Zhang Xian had an untouched glass of wine.
