In Volume 3, Chapter 1, Nikkoman is lying on the ground, bleeding and defeated by Huguel. While Nikkoman is in terrible shape, Huguel remains standing before him, without any injuries or bruises. Huguel, with a superior expression, tells Nikkoman, "I told you you wouldn't stand a chance against me."

Nikkoman tries to get up, but his arm is broken and his strength is completely exhausted. Huguel looks at him and continues, "I could kill you here and now, but I don't like killing heroes. So, I will give you a chance to live. Join me, Nikkoman, and you will see a new tomorrow in this world." Zerk full of sins. If you join me, you will be the most glorious and powerful ally you have ever had."

The chapter ends with Huguel's proposal to Nikkoman. What will Nikkoman decide to do? Will he accept Huguel's offer and join him in search of power and glory? Or will he find a way to resist and recover to fight Huguel again? Follow the next chapters to discover what Nikkoman's fate will be and how this choice will affect the Zerk world. End of chapter.
