Chapter 25: the duo of the two best dogs from gangbuk

Author's POV.

Hanju was able to bring Cheonhak Yang his home without any issues.

"I just hope he doesn't stay unconscious in front of the door for too long," he thought as he entered his home.

Upon arriving home, Hanju took off his clothes, which he found uncomfortable, and finally relaxed in front of his computer.

He didn't do much since most of the tasks he performed online were automated thanks to an AI system he had implemented.

Hanju simply checked his current earnings from trading and regular investments.

"I need more capital if I want to be a major shareholder in more companies," Hanju thought calmly.

The reason for his lack of capital was because of Yun Jo; the money paid to Tom Lee had been more significant than expected, but it was necessary.

"I had to buy his silence while he got rid of the body," Hanju sighed at the situation.

If he had a system like Suhyeon Kim's, he could have easily disposed of Yun Jo's body, but reality was cruel.

"At least I now have access to all of the North Gangbuk's money, and I can reinvest it in various companies. I also now have access to several workers," Hanju reflected, concluding that he should discuss with the other executives to obtain more labor later on.

After checking a few other things on his various social media accounts, Hanju took a shower before falling into a deep sleep.

- Author's POV (The White Tiger Job Centre)

"There, all the necessary information is assigned here," Shin Sera said in a soft voice.

"Thank you, I'll take it from here," said Hanju, taking the file before anyone else could beat him to it.

"Grrr," Johan growled towards Hanju, who ignored him without sparing him a glance and opened the document.

Inside were letters confirming their identities, as well as various information about their mission and future schedules within the establishment.

"Don't forget, boys, you're representing the agency there and good luck " she said before winking at them.

"We don't need that," Johan replied before getting up to leave through the door.

"It seems my 'elder' isn't very courteous towards beautiful women," Hanju declared, flirting slightly with Shin Sera before following Johan out of the room.

"Not only is he cute, but he's also audacious," Shin Sera thought with a smile that could seduce most young men.

"You think you're stronger than me" Johan suddenly said in a car that happened to belong to a senior agent.

"For now, yes, I'm stronger here ," Hanju simply replied, observing the traffic while driving.

"Next time, you..." Johan Seong began to say before being abruptly interrupted by Hanju's next words.

"Do you want to keep chattering uselessly, or do you want to know the reason or how I know things about you and your mother?" Hanju said, searching for a cigarette to smoke, but unfortunately, Johan snatched it from his lips.

"Answer me, what do you know about me and my mother?" Johan asked with eyes that would scare any sane human being.

"Truth is, there was a time when I admired you, Johan, which is why I know so much about you and your mother," Hanju simply replied, half-lying.

Indeed, Mikoto Suoh envied Johan, and Hanju desired to be as strong as him, but his current self only wished to recruit him into his crew.

He no longer had such great admiration for him but only respect for this young man who had faced horrible difficulties at a young age.

"Hahaha, as if I would believe that," Johan mocked.

"You're Johan Seong, you're a man, but strangely, women's clothes suit you well. You're 18 years old, your mother suffers from vision problems, and she was drugged..." When Hanju wanted to say more, Johan grabbed him by the collar of his jacket.

"Stop, stop," Johan yelled, completely forgetting that Hanju was driving the car.

"How do you know all this?" Johan demanded.

"Let go of me, you mad dog. Do you want us to not arrive in one piece or what?" Hanju responded to Johan.

Hanju didn't have his usual expression but a serious, non-apathetic look that showed if things continued, there would be a fight.

"Damn," he let out, releasing Hanju from his hands, and luckily, despite the situation, Hanju had enough control over the driving to avoid an accident.

"I'll tell you the whole truth about your mother's situation, but you'll have to join me," Hanju said with a rare asshole grin.

"Later, you'll spill everything, believe me," Johan declared before falling silent.

...

Author's POV (Vivi's Club)

"I assure you, sir, we don't need any additional help here," a man in a black suit said on the phone in Chinese.

"Believe me, Mr. Xiaolung, I'm sure more security won't hurt the club," the person on the phone declared.

"And besides, the two individuals I can get to help with security are possibly as strong as you, so they won't be negligible," the voice on the phone explained before hanging up.

"If Miss didn't hate her home, I wouldn't need to obey this guy," he thought, frowning his brows, which was rare for him to display.

Xiaolung, although reluctant, knew better than anyone the importance his mistress placed on her freedom outside her home country.

"Following this guy temporarily is a small price to pay," he concluded bitterly.

"Xiaolung, what are you doing?" a young girl asked as she entered the room with bodyguards.

"Do you want to go out for a bit? I want to eat some Korean food tonight," she asked, jumping into his arms to cling to him.

"Anything you want, my sky," Xiaolung simply replied with a soft look but with his usual stoic facial expression.

"Great," the girl shouted excitedly with joy.

"I was sick of managing this club, but at least I'm sometimes alone with Xiaolung," Vivi thought happily.

...

Eugene's POV.

"Sir, I'd like to know why you want Hanju and Johan to go to the club," Mandeok Bang asked, who was also the vice president of Workers.

"I see you haven't guessed my intentions," Eugene said with a small smile.

"Sorry to disappoint you," Mandeok Bang simply replied, being a man of few words by nature.

"It can't be helped, I'll just say it plainly," Eugene said, getting up to go to the window that gave him a beautiful view of the city.

"I want to recruit Hanju Gu as soon as possible, and if possible, rally Johan Seong as well, but the latter will be more difficult," Eugene explained, frowning when he thought about Johan Seong's case.

"So that's why you sold the assets to hanju GU from some entreprises of workers ," Mandeok Bang concluded, remembering that an individual had bought a substantial number of shares in Workers' companies, except for those of the club.

"As expected from my right-hand man, you guessed correctly," Eugene complimented.

"Hanju Gu seems to want to get closer to us, so I'm helping him. We always need talented people like him among us," Eugene declared, observing the magnificent evening landscape.
