Emil made a violent moment but was held back by Mateo who smiled at the woman.
"What are you doing?" Emil asked as he turned to look at his second brother. Was he going to let this matter slide?
"Emil, what you are doing is wrong," Mateo said in a reprimanding voice. "Mrs Clamont is right, she did nothing wrong, as she was protecting her family."
Hearing his words, Mrs Clamont heaved a sigh of relief and asked, "Mister Mateo, I—I did as you asked me. When will I see my son? He …you will let him go, right? He will be released soon, right?" She asked worriedly as Mrs Clamont was worried about her son and no one else.
Because Mateo seemed to be much more kind and gentle, she mistook him for an honest man when the truth was that he was the most devilish among the three brothers.
