Jealousy and Doubts

Sasha dropped by Dominique's office to deliver a lunchbox. She had been distressed for the past two nights, tormented by what had happened between her and Ashton. To her surprise, Dominique never confronted her.

'Does he know, or is he just feigning ignorance?' Sasha pondered as she watched Dominique work on his laptop while she prepared his lunch on the table.

"Babe, were you the one who rushed Athena to the hospital? Did you come home after that?" Sasha asked, her heart pounding in her chest.

"Yes, I did. But I didn't go home," he replied simply.

Sasha frowned. 'Does that mean he stayed at the hospital?'

"Did you stay in the hospital the whole night?" Sasha probed further, unable to quell the surge of jealousy. She felt it should have been Ashton taking care of Athena, not Dominique.
