The Big Black Mountain was dark and unfathomable, its boundaries unknown.

The Monster Hunters from the older generation of Tongxian City usually divided the Big Black Mountain into three regions: the Outer Mountain, the Inner Mountain, and the Deep Mountain.

The Outer Mountain was where most Monster Hunters hunted Monster Beasts. There were fewer poisonous creatures, the miasma was lighter, and although the terrain was treacherous, it wasn't exceedingly perilous.

Most Monster Beasts in the Outer Mountain were at the middle phase of the First Grade realm, with occasionally one or two at the late phase of the First Grade realm, though such sightings were rare.

The Inner Mountain, however, was different. It was extraordinarily dangerous, infested with toxic creatures and dense miasma, and even had poison fog that could confuse the mind.
