Thieves

Amelia took another look at the on going construction and turned to leave. She wanted to meditate on the depths of space powers. She got comfortable and closed her eyes to look inside and bla bla bla.

"What do you mean by this?" A breathtakingly beautiful woman stood in front of a man with just as much beauty but with muscularity, tall figure and wide shoulders. He looked down into her eyes before snorting coldly.

"Can you not read? It's a contract. If I am to bring a snake into my bed, I should at least have the antidote to the poison, no?" He blinked.

"I am not a snake and if I was, I would have bit down on that sharp mount of yours. I am telling grandpa!" She swayed outside with a huff.

"If I didn't know better, I would think she is heartbroken at my words just now." Lu Feng looked to his shadow guards in question.

"She is upset." The guard who is being stared at replied and then went back to the shadows. Such a woman, how can she be worthy of carrying his children? Not to mention her father was responsible for his brush with death a while ago. How can he want to make things easy for that family? 

He turned and continued working. Just when he is serious in work a man he hated came in without even knocking. He sat opposite him and sneered.

"A second wife? You think there is a woman out there capable of being first when Xiang is second?" The old man Qin Jie has an ugly expression. 

"There is one. She is to be my wife. Your daughter is only allowed to stand in front of me because grandpa keeps nagging me about marriage. If I find my woman before this farce of a marriage, you're daughter will never enter my house. Understand?" Lu Feng's tone is authoritative and left no leeway for elders.

"I should have made sure you were dead." Jie said in pity. But remembering his own son who went missing and even told him to sever connections between them, he felt a headache. 

"You should have. What a shame you can't go back in time." Lu Feng found it funny that not only did he come back alive but there is no lingering effects from the poison and this man will get angered every time he sees his good health. But he will never forget this man had made his into such a sorry state. If this Qin Jie loved his children he would have married his daughter and ignore her. 

"We are the Qin family. Why are you using a cowards weapon to kill your enemy?" Lu Feng went and pulled out two bastard swords. He threw on to him. The older man retreated far away from the blade and the blade fell to the ground. 

"If you want me dead so badly, pick it up and fight. In fact, call your daughter back in I'll fight both of you. If she accidentally gets killed by me, I won't have to hear about that blasted wedding again." He said coldly.

Qin Jie cycled around the blade on the floor and left as if his ass is on fire. "I hope this is enough to buy me time. Little Goblin, why haven't you turned on your phone yet?" Worry evident in his eyes. The world is so chaotic like this, what if she suffers out there? 

It's as if he as forgotten how she almost killed all his men and himself in one fell swoop. When a man is in love there is filter in his thoughts.

"Whose little Goblin?" A strong but old voice sounded from the door.

"Will you really kill that little girl?" A dignified old man can in and picked up the blade. He looked at his grandson who came back from the clutches of death seemingly un phased but only he can see that in his cold eyes there is an even thicker block of ice as if it will freeze people with a single look. 

"You want to take her place?" Lu Feng smirked.

'Pah'

A resounding slap rang in the room. Lu Feng looked his hand. He had hit himself just now. This old man has a tendency to get into people's minds and make them do whatever he wants.

Lu Feng is usually an exception but not today it sees. "Are you going to ignore me now? What kind of Goblin would turn my usually reasonable grandson into a madman who wants to cut his own in law to pieces?"

Lu Feng continues working ignoring the old man as if he is not there. Seeing this, the old man is rubbed his eyebrows. "Can you at least try to be civil with Ah Jie?"

"The men is responsible for hundreds of my men dying and then he poisoned me with a sinister poison that took half my life even as I cured it. Do you know the troublesome things I went through because of him? Yet you want me to hold his daughter to sleep?"

The old man's lips twitched. Since when did his quiet grandson have such a sharp tongue?

"I pushed for this marriage because I want peace. Can't you see that? They hold a considerable amount of power in their hands not counting the hundreds of thousands of soldiers loyal only to their branch." The old man reasoned.

"I will marry her, but she shouldn't ask for more than that. This is why I gave her a contact. This way all parties involved are aware of the situation." Lu Feng said lightly. This family puts a lot of emphasis on contracts even if the world has lost order, the Qin family has always been under one order. The Qin order.

As the result, if Lu Feng said their marriage will be a plastic marriage then you better believe it will be as written. If the woman signs this agreement then there won't be a place for her to cry to in the future when she is ignored by her husband.

"You are refusing to give me grand children?"

"I am refusing to touch her. If you want grand children, help me find the little Goblin. Then you can have as many as you want." Lu Feng will not relent. A pensive face with cold set of blue eyes flashed in his memory.

I just don't know what is she thinking not contacting him at this time?

That family branch is so ambitious when one method doesn't work they use a soft method. So cunning, what's worse is this old man. It goes to show he doesn't actually care for him but only his own peace of mind.

"No outside woman will become the first lady of the family during such trying times do you hear me? I don't care what this woman fed you to go out of your mind over her, but she will never be your first wife." The stern voice of the old man sounds final but Lu Feng just snorted. He looked at his watch and then glanced at the old man from the corner of his eye.

"Isn't it about time for your afternoon nap?" This is reminding him of his age. The old man looked at him with bloodshot eyes

Lu Feng calmly looked into his eyes without wavering. This staring match is broken by a loud 'dud' sound behind the old man, then a slash as if a dam of water broke letting out all the water.

They both look to the sound only to see a girl seating in a meditative posture with her eyes closed wearing a light dress covered in what seem to be sea weeds.

Normally when a person has wet clothes on it will be transparent and show the shape of their bodies but this person is covered in all sort of wet weeds almost making a cocoon around herself.

The weeds are wet and covering her until only a little bit of her face can be seen. The most glaring thing is the giants mutated lobster stuck on a door to the hallway.

The lobster is still alive and struggling. The girl and the weeds covering her seem to be phasing in and out of space. The old man looked at the scene without an expression but actually he is shocked inside. This is high level attainment in a supernatural power!

Who is this young lady to be able to reach such a thing at a young age? He looked at Lu Feng's excitement and knew the answer to his question. No wonder this boy will be so defiant, he had found such a gem.

He understood but it doesn't mean he aproves. This gurl seems to powerful to be controlled. It is very hard to be married to a person you can not control when you are a powerful man yourself. So this marriage is not possible.

He now believes more than ever that Lu Feng must marry a girl like Xioang who is completely in love with Lu Feng. It will dave him trouble along the way. This young lady tha Lu Feng loves would have been okay if she was from a branch of the Qin such as Xioang

Lu Feng on the side is delighted and called out. "Little..." he didn't finish because his grandfather signaled him to keep silent.

"...goblin." he said in a hush tone. The old man pulled hi outside and took the lobster with them by the way. Old man took him downstairs and outside before he started speaking.

"Is that your little Goblin?" He asked but he already has the answer.

"Yes. Why did you pull me away?"

"She is in deep meditation. She seems to be on the verge of understanding something. If you disturb her, the consequences may be serious."

"I forgot about that, I was so excited to see her. It been so long." Lu Feng is open in front of his grandfather and his men. Everyone else sees him as a cold faced quiet man.

"Did you feel the pressure she released just now?" The old man had a thoughtful expression.

"Yeah. But like I said, I wasn't focused."

"She seems very strong. Does she have space power?"

"Yeah and plant power. My little Goblin is very powerful." He is showing off.

"I wonder if she was trying to learn a new skill but got distracted by you and then her powers brought her to you. How peculiar." It would be good if this young lady was also deeply in love with his grandson. He won't fight their union at time.

"Young master lord Qin. What happened?"

A maid came out from the kitchen to inquire. "Don't worry about it and go back to work. I will tell you when you can clean it." Lu Feng said to her.

What he didn't tell Lu Feng is that when the little girl from Ah Jie's house found out what her father had done she tried to kill herself. As her gandpa he couldn't let her die in vein. What's wrong with marrying a woman who would give their life for you?

"Lets do it today. We can grab one of the soldiers when they are about to return and inject them with the virus. After that all we will do is sit back as the base collapses from the inside. We will get back all the supplies and the base at that time." The man who spoke is the leader of the supply team that had gone out to search for resources.

They had already gotten the message from their leader to capture that base no matter what. Just thinking about all the medicine from the hospital made them feel even more motivated to steal it from the current owner.

Even the ongoing construction shows how good of a location this place is. The place where the base is being extended can still be stretched out to 100 times it currently size.

If they really took over this location, the possibilities are endless. They will really be abke to become kings and build a kingdom here. The nearby forest is no problem at all.

They come from the G base and before they came here, they had thought their base is secure enough but after seeing that wall they realized what security means.

It is the end times, zombies are rampant. Who doesn't want to live in a secure and safe place? So they haven't left all this time plotting to take over that base from the group of children in charge there.

"What is that alarm goes off again?"

"That's fine, it's their own people anyways. Why do we care? We will come up with another way."

"I am suspecting the reason we got caught before was because the virus was on its own but if we put it inside a person it might take longer to notice it." One of them said.

"I am afraid you won't get the chance." A cold voice sounded as if on the side of the ear. The groupbof peole jumped.

"Who are you?" They looked at the young girl who came out of no where.

Ah Yan looked at the group of men trying to take away her home. Suddenly she is filed filled with rage. The surrounding moisture in the air suddenly became chilly and the place got cold.

One man in the group lit up his flame. It is obvious the dark green flame is about to become blue, which means he is advancing soon. This didn't deter Ah Yan, she has fought stronger zombies and the Qin group was not easy to deal with.

The man with a flame attacked pushing a very hot flame towards Ah Yan. She raised her hands and the other people froze in place. Their feet could move no matter how much they tried to.

A sharp ice spike touched the man with the flame. While he is watching this one spike, several sharp blades made entirely of ice sliced his back.

"Ahh..." He cried out in pain. He is loosing too much blood. His vision became distorted and he made a decisive decision to run away.

She looked at them like looking at a corpse. Thick sharp ice blades cut down. The people scattered around after the ice on their feet broke but she didn't relent.

She froze their feet in place again, although it didn't glue them to the ground it did slow them down. Fast ice blades cut them down. Two were directly cut in half. Inner

"Do you know what you are doing? The base will go to war for us. Your actions will kill thousands in your base if you don't stop." The man who seems to be a leader said in panic looking at the gory scene.

Ah Yan didn't show any change in expression after hearing his words. She cut down another two. She switched from blades to spikes. In a blink of time several spikes came up from the direction people were running towards impaling their chests, stomach and some even got stabbed in the neck and died soon after.

The scene is very cruel. But these people were planning to kill her base members so they can loot her home just like bandits.

The fire powered person turned around and decided to die fighting. He sent fire flame after flame her way but Ah Yan has already dodged the onslaught and sent an ice spike through his stomach. The man looked at the protruding pike and puked blood before sleeping on the spike.

"Brutal."

"Agreed."

"Well deserved."

"Also agreed."

Yan looked to the group of people with her eyes still full of killing intent. The upcoming people halted. They know about this state from experience they better stay away until she calm down.

"When did you come?" She asked calmly. It seems the state from before is gone.

"Just now. We should clean up." Xiao Feng said. He took belongings on the bodies and buried them with his powers. His team mates helped to look around the place and found dry food and some crystal nucleus. There is also a car.

"Lets take all of their belongings to plant them on the way to G city as if they didn't come this way." Three suggested. It seems like a good idea only if their boss didn't already know there is a hospital base to begin with.

Not everyone went on this trip. Aiming is here since she can send shadows to scout. Li Jie can remain calm even in tuff situations. Bo has spirit power and can read minds.

Three will teleport inside and steal things. They traveled two days and finally made it there. They are trying to infiltrate a storage they don't know the location of.

"Have you found your advisor Li Jie?" Ah Yan asked the tall boy to pass time.

"Yeah."

"Really? You are so lucky. The politician or the police?" Three thought it incredible this guy is willing to be advised by anyone.

"Madam Lola." Li Jie smiled as if knowing what they are going to say. But he is surprised when he heard Aiming chuckle.

"Good choice. A person like that is probably good with people and can read the room, she must also be great at gathering information." Bo said with a thoughtful expression.

"Are you serious? A whore?" Lulu said in shock. Even her cold expression reveals shock.

"Lulu, you are too vanilla. If you were more outgoing, maybe Feng Feng would have confessed to you himself." Three said with no filter on Aiming.

"I already confessed to her." Feng Feng who normally doesn't comment, said this statement stunning the group.

"Then why the two of you are not together?" Li Jie became interested.

"Who said we are not together?" Feng looked at Li Jie pensively.

Li Jie quickly averted his gaze. "Not me. I definitely think you're together." Good guy, can you not have such a fierce pair of eyes? Scare people to death. He put his hand on his chest in pretence.

The others echoed the same words making Lulu shy. She blinked adorably at Feng Feng who didn't look her way but seems to be studying the torain.

The group got to the G base and immediately acted. Aiming made three shadows and they drove the dead people's car. Because one had space, the other had fire while one was a body enhanced supernatural power the shadow put on her space ring.

Aiming is at a high level now she can even use the dimension. It's like a wormhole that appears and can be used by the one who opened it. Aiming controlled the group to a dark corner and opened a wormhole to transport herself and the others into the base. 

First problem is that they are not aware of the location of the armory. This reason is why they brought the spirit king. Initially he was supposed to investigate the men who ended up brutally murdered by Ah Yan. 

Now they have to go around the base and find someone who is aware of the location of all the supplies. The most beautiful of the group is sent to be a spy, that is the petite looking Ah Yan. They had to make a wound on her and dress her up in a light yellow dress that makes her features gentle and beautiful. Bo stared at her without blinking. 

Aiming chuckled happily. "The Iron tree Finally bloomed. Our Bo brother's love struck expression is so rich. I'm dressing up Ah Yin from now on." Aiming with her usual sense of humor immediately made fun of Bo. 

The team moved quickly but before they got to the clinic from the base, the wound on Ah Yan healed. They became helpless. Could it be that They had to keep wounding her? 

"Yan Yan, just pretend to have a bad stomachache oh no, a headache. Those people will think you are pregnant otherwise." Three said in a serious tone by little Three.

The people looked at him in exasperation. But they went past the soldiers anyways and out of the blue the clean beautiful Ah Yan fell down and the worry on Dong Bo's face became obvious as if he forgot this was just an act. 

Soldiers noticed and rushed over. one soldier lifted her up directly making Dong Bo clenched his fists. He wanted to rush over but got held back by Li Jie who saw his movement. 

The soldier is immersed in the feeling of carrying a fragrant beauty in his hand and didn't feel the subtle spirit power searching his mind for that location of the armory. 

The important thing about the group of kings is their high level of power levels. In the novel, the heroine brave dangers with a group of trusted friends and some make it back but not all, this all because she had hid her powerful resources.

Liang Mei couldn't blatantly share her things even with thise she trusted because she couldn't trust anyone. After all she doesn't have a magic contract that will prevent people from betraying her. This is why she kills one of her cousins who accidentally saw she can cure zombies virus in early stage.

The spirit king found the location and started retreating from the group. Seeing his actions, the group knew their plan succeed and relaxed. Ah Yan suddenly asked to be put down.

"Little sister, I'll take you to the hospital." The soldier coaxed gently. 

"She will overreact if she finds herself in a stranger's embrace, she is autistic." Aiming said to the solder and just on que, Ah Yan started shaking and the soldier let her go. He looked at her pretty face twisted and felt it a pity. 

The soldier showed them the way to the clinic, turned around and left. Aiming sneered at this, "Want to eat the sweet fruit but is reluctant to climb the tall tree. Young people these days." She rolled her eyes. 

That episode didn't pull too much attention from the on lookers, so the group went to a nearby restaurant until dark and then acted at night.

Dong Bo pulled the men watching the armory into an illusion and proceeded to use their keys to empty the place of the tens of thousands of automatic rifles and hundreds of thousands of bullets. 

It didn't take long for them to be outside the base and immediately ran away using the warm hole again. The men slept on the ground until the shift is suposed to be changed.

The boss of the base has been looking for the people who are said to have come back from an important mission but haven't bothered to look for him. 

When the team had sent back a messenger saying they have found a more secure base for everyone it had been very surprising but the man they had sent back didn't know where the said base was because they had initially been on another mission. 

But just hearing about the height of the wall around the base made him green with envy so of course he wanted the base for himself. That team was like a free horse, it okay if they succeed but if they fail, there is plenty of other ways.

Just as the base leader is about to have thr group come to see him, a soldier came in running and reported the base armory has all been looted.

As if a cold bucket of water splashed on his day dream about stealing and occupying someone else's hard work, he looked at the cleaned out storage and felt his knees buckle. It's over. If zombies came at this time, they will all die if not for him separating some weapons from this batch, there really is no way to resist.

The base leader trusted his instincts for a long time he immediately felt that those idiots had probably been controlled when they came in and it was all to steal from him when he heard a spirit power was involved.

With an angry roar, the base leader called everyone to lock down the base and find the thief. It a pity the thieves are already miles away from the base.

At this time, he has to guard what he has on his hands carefully, he has no energy to wage wars even if he knows it must be that place that stole his weapons.
