Poison make you stronger?

To begin our attack, I was the first to act.

"Alright, I'm going now. Prepare to attack as soon as I give the signal."

After I spoke, my eyes glowed with a bluish-silver space-like color. I moved my hands in specific motions, directly opening a portal to the other side. Upon crossing through, I appeared behind a rock. Once there, I activated a portion of my aura power and gently invoked the power of my contract with Nyx. Darkness enveloped my body, cloaking me in a layer of illusion and shadow. Swiftly, I moved with agility and stealth like a hunting serpent, passing by goblins and orcs, and approached my first target. There, I found food and water. Despite being monsters and not very intelligent, this species had some level of intelligence, as they were able to create small food storages.
